Villas in Metkovic

"We booked Sorgo Palace very last minute (literally 30 minutes before we arrived!) due to a very unfortunate issue with a booking we had in nearby Neum, Bosnia and Herzegovina. I can't say enough about how welcoming our hosts were. The room was immaculate and nicely appointed. It was a very quiet and comfortable sleep with a wonderful homemade breakfast served on the patio. We had spent the afternoon in Ston and had we known how wonderful this little town was, we would have booked the Sorgo Palace months ago when we planned our Croatia trip. We highly recommend staying at Sorgo Palace as well as adding Ston to your list of places to visit."

"The house in Croatia was everything And more. The views of the mountains and the Adriatic Sea were amazing. The grounds were impeccable. The house was staged beautifully. We cooked, swam in that beautiful heated pool. We roasted chestnuts in the outdoor fireplace. Josip the host was super friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this place to friends of mine. Couldn’t of been happier. Thank you Josip for your hospitality. John and Kathi"

"We are a family of 4 adults and stayed for 10 nights in a 2 bed apartment which was spacious, spotlessly clean and well equipped. The air con was excellent and meant we all slept well. The beds/towels were changed half way through, along with a quick clean which was appreciated. On arrival we found the apartment had 2 double beds rather than the double and twin set-up we had on our reservation. We were quickly offered a solution of an additional single bed which worked well. The pool area was lovely and there were always sunbeds available. We loved the views from the apartment, both front and back. Slano was a perfect size with enough restaurants and shops for our needs. "

"We had a lovely week in this villa. Very pretty setting and lovely garden. The kitchen had everything we needed when we self- catered and we loved sitting after dinner with the outdoor lights off and counting the shooting stars. Although secluded, we were less than ten minutes drive to the pretty beach at Gradac with its beautiful sunsets and friendly restaurants. Ten minutes in the other direction got us to Bacina lake where we walked, swam, paddle boards and relaxed. It’s worth noting that this property may not be suitable for younger children, or people with less mobility as there are quite a few stone steps up from the car to the front door and the staircases internally are open. All in all we had a great stay here, thank you."
