    Completely off-grid, this fossil-fuel free yurt experience, with no electricity or indoor plumbing, includes a queen size bed, hand washing area, dining space, chest of drawers, bookshelves, kitchen area and wood stove includes firewood. Outdoor spigot available for water.

A great place to stay if you are comfortable with off grid living. Peaceful and quiet with great hosts on a beautiful property close to Middlebury.

Well-presented as comfortable space without electricity or running water (but water provided and available) in a forest setting with hosts nearby if help is needed. I enjoyed the privacy and the peaceful sounds of nature from woodthrush serenades to owl hoots and a few morning howls from coyotes and the buzz of a hummingbird and bees. Screen windows provided a welcome breeze. Proximity to Middlebury was excellent and an easy drive.

Wonderful getaway

We had a great stay! It's a great location for hiking and swimming. The yurt is gorgeous, really cozy and well furnished. We were amazed at how well the indoor composting toilet works! And Alice was incredibly responsive and accommodating, most of our questions were answered by the binder left in the yurt. Would love to come back sometime!

what a fun adventure!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the yurt. It was a fun filled learning adventure and reminded us of how to wisely regenerate our resources (i.e. composting toilet) for supporting the land. It was a beautiful and peaceful location.
