"Lovely hotel with fantastic homemade breakfast located a 30 second walk from the charming centre of Crémieu. Nice property with huge yard and interesting history. The hostess was very kind and had lots to say about the region. Highly recommended."

"Les Galapons was so much more than we expected. In the middle of the countryside. If you want complete silence, a reset on life in the city, this is the place to go. Sandrine and Sebastian are the perfect hosts. Food was extremely tasty, local wine was some of the best we have had and the room was delightfully decorated and spotless. "

"The room itself was tiny, nicely furnished and extreme warm. No aircon / fan/ heater there. Bathroom was clean. If u don't need a kitchen or fridge it's not recommendable for the price. It was offered online with a whirpool wich wasn't available. No compensation for that.The water option was the main reason why we booked the place. "This is a large chateau. The owner has been restoring the property for over 10 years but it is still work in progress. He is an excellent cook and the in house dinners are a good choice. The breakfast was good. The bedroom was large, clean and very 19th century French. Lovely polished wood floors. Large grounds around the hotel. Free parking."
