Mike is a lovely host and the rooms are spacious and our bed was super comfortable. Our room looked over the Miramichi river which is very scenic. Peaceful and quiet small hamlet.

The Governor's Mansion Inn was amazing. On a two week road trip and this was, by far, the best stay at the most beautiful home. Filled with rich history and gorgeous antiques. We stayed in the Governor’s Lady’s room which was warm and welcoming, it had an adjoining sun porch to watch the sunset over the Miramichi River. A must stay!

The room was fixed up so nicely. We had a view of the river with a beautiful sunset. There was an enclosed porch with a fridge, microwave, and coffee as well as cups and utensils. You do have to climb quite a few stairs to get to the rooms, which might be a problem for some travelers. I would recommend staying at the Governor’s Mansion.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautifully maintained historic Inn! It’s full of charm and character with vintage furnishings yet incredibly comfortable beds and modern bathrooms! The views of Miramichi River are stunning from the Inn, especially from the river view rooms. We cannot wait to stay there again to experience the comfort, the history, views and very knowledgeable staff!

The stairs going in were broken. The floor was so crooked. I almost fell. We turned around and walked out and asked to cancel immediately. This was the most disgusting place, and it's also in the middle of renovation. So quiet it is not. I am so disappointed. I am not normally an expedia. User and I will no longer be one. If I do not get a refund. Utterly unsafe and unacceptable!

This is an exceptional property. Take the time to really explore it. We were lucky to get the Governor's room - where apparently the Queen spent a night in 1994. We plan to return and treat ourselves to the 4 o'clock tea. Thanks for such an incredible experience. Dan and Estelle

The property is beautiful, the furnishings unique and the bed was comfortable, and we looked forward to enjoying a stately home environment. Unfortunately the Inn was under renovations and we couldn’t stay for the full period of our reservation due to the dust. Would recommend it for a special stay but only once renos are completed. Very friendly staff.

Apparently we stayed in the same room as Queen Elizabeth did on her trip to Miramichi in 1959! However it was very musty when we initially got there so we opened all the windows and turned on a fan and went out for a couple of hours. When we got back it was fine and the rest of our stay was pleasant.

Its absurd this place has anything but a one (1) review. Incredibly outdated room (a vhs tube tv???) the shower is literally something out of a halfway house. Blatantly obvious no one from expedia or tge like has ever set foot in the "mansion" The owners have a 5 year old "please be patient during renovations" when obviously there hasnt been a reno in 30 years. The owners should also thank their lucky stars they have the staff that they do. And at a b&b breakfast is not coffee toast and a few tubes of cereal. Shocking. Completely shocking
