"Fabulous stay and luxury experience for an affordable cost. Enjoyed dining at the hotel for dinner and breakfast In Luxe surroundings. Breakfast can be on the outdoor terrace overlooking the garden. Hiked to the top and enjoyed the stations of the cross and other chapels that adorned our “way” dating back to the 1600s. Beautiful nature. Tranquility at its finest. Highly recommend. Staff was very nice too. "

"We had a wonderful stay at this lovely boutique hotel. It's beautifully decorated with a unique updated traditional style. The staff went out of their way to answer questions and make sure our stay was comfortable. One point to be aware of is the parking they provide is at a sister property a ways away and can make luggage drop off and pick up a bit complicated. However, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here (and the amazing breakfast) and wished we could have stayed longer!"

"The hotel was outstanding. The staff was so friendly and helpful. The rooms were great. They welcomed us with a glass of wine in the lovely patio area. The restaurant is small but really nice. Coimbra itself is extremely hilly, but the hotel is pretty convenient and not too steep a climb. Roads are very narrow if you're driving a car."
