The signage on the property was new but the room was old with stained carpet and smelled musty. There was black mold in the bathroom. The hotel should not be rated at 3 stars, it’s definitely 2 or less. Overpriced hotel when there were other options to choose from at similar prices. The property is not well maintained. Would not stay there again and would not recommend.

We stayed in a Red Lion in a different location and it was very good, so coming to unknown city it felt safe to book with the chain. Expected beter for $220 / night but it was not meant to be. No complaint about staff or the clean room, but the property itself felt not just dumpy, but like nobody cares - old junk and furniture tucked away everywhere like trash. In fact, driving in and seeing a pile of old furniture, we thought we were at the wrong place. If it was $90-100/night, i would have had different expectations but this was very much overpriced.

I had prepaid for two nights, but I was locked out of my room when I returned, I assume only one night was loaded onto my card although I was not given a reason as to what happened. The desk person seemed irritated that she had to deal with my problem. The motel (I don't consider it a hotel or inn) is run down, it obviously was an older motel that Red Lion purchased. There was not an exhaust fan in my bathroom, the cover was missing leaving a dirty/creepy looking hole in the bathroom ceiling. Overall it was a decent stay, but not what I expected compared to other Red Lion properties that I have stayed at.

We used to love to stay at the Red Lion due to its convenience to downtown. It’s definitely gotten run down and is no longer being maintained. The pool was disgusting, the exterior of the property hasn’t been cared for and you’d think it’s abandoned with weeds growing tall. Looks pretty sketchy. Like I said for many years this was one of our favorite places to stay. The staff seemed pretty unreliable in doing their job as well. We literally only had one bath towel in our room. Won’t be staying there anymore.

Very old property needs extensive renovation. Updates that have been performed are similar to putting lipstick on a pig. Recommended upgrades are too numerous to mention. Frustration shows in the employees.

I stayed in 2 different rooms only for the convenience of being near the hospital. Both rooms were disgusting and dirty. The shower was full of mold and mildew and the walls were rotted. The tub in the other room didn't drain and then hair floated up around my feet. The one room didn't have a deadbolt lock so we had to pry the ironing board under the door knob for safety. The bed sheets had hair on them. The only good was the coffee. The coffee was so good! And the front desk guy was nice.

This run down, old hotel was disgusting. From centipedes and spiders in the shower, to rot on the dloor trim of the bathroom, to the pool being and empty hole in the ground of which was NOT mentioned on their site. Never ever stay there.
