“Parking was great and the a/c did a good job”

“We stayed at the Shelby Inn overnight Easter Sunday night, after a day of fishing at the lake spillway. The Inn looks to be a mansion in pictures, but it is also what might have been an upgraded 1950s single floor motor lodge, as well as a two story lodging building next door. Our king room was in the 2 story building, on the top floor. On the day of our arrival, we got the assigned room number and an access code for the door. The room was well appointed, spacious with a two-seater table and……

“Was a pleasant stay”

“ Carpet was filthy and the room wasn't as nice as pictures made it out to be. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful when we asked for an ironing board and iron.”

“No heat or Air conditioning 1st night and then just air conditioning 2nd night”

“The first room we were assigned smelled like barf. The 2nd room smelled strongly of over-used cleaning products, but the floor was sticky. It was livable for 1 night, since we had pre-paid. I would not visit this property again.”
