“Very clean and everything as promised! Would stay again!”

“I think I would add an air filter. There is a bit of an old house smell, obviously because it is indeed old. It can trigger allergies. The shower is detaching from the wall, so I would definitely handle that. The coffee was good but low on creamer. There was nothing major, and I am quite picky. The town is right by a huge lake which is beautiful. With a little more detail to the smaller things, I think it could be quite inviting. Put some plants out front. The husband is only on his 40’s and……

“The house was clean. Beds and couches were very comfortable. Great for our dogs.”

“Very clean and homey! Close to town and boat ramps!”

“Nice house out of the way nice and quiet.”

“Very nice and secluded property! Hosts are outstanding as well!”

“Decent place overall but not much in terms of extras.”

“The pictures don’t do it justice. It’s an adorable cabin much more spacious than it looks. Beds are super comfy.”

“This was the perfect property for a getaway with close friends who were visiting from Oklahoma. The house is absolutely adorable and was very clean when we arrived. It is located in the country, but was close to everything we wanted to do. We thoroughly enjoyed using the hot tub and highly recommend it after a long day out and about! We will most definitely be back!!!”

“Fairly clean, however did have some issues. Pillows were completely worn out as were the beds, mattresses were covered in plastic which made them very hot to sleep on. While not under the Hosts control, the dog next door barked at everything morning and night.”

“Last min pick- needed a bed to sleep in. Son said great location if wanting to explore.”

“A calm spot ideal for a quick stopover.”

“This property was a little larger than the pictures made it look (in our opinion). It was clean and met all of our needs. We would definitely consider coming back in the future if traveling through Effingham again.”

“Loved the atmosphere very unique and comfortable. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay the next time we travel this way”

“There was ample room for our group to spread out with easy parking nearby. Location felt perfect for visiting local attractions.”

“Quiet room located off ground floor helped moving luggage feel straightforward, while air conditioning kept us cool when temperatures rose during daytime hours nearby town attractions keep things interesting too!”

“Microwave worked well and warmed food evenly.”
