Right now, one traveler to fly to Mattoon, Effingham is in the ballpark of $119. After crunching the data for prices and destinations globally, we've determined the cost of flying to Mattoon to be below your average city, a benefit for travelers.
This won't mean that $119 is the absolute best deal that you'll find on Expedia, but it is a good starting point. That rate will be based on a lot of different factors like the date you depart, the airline, and even how you reserve your trip.
That is, we've noticed that travelers who book lodging and airfare together can save as much as $570.* Likewise, by just combining the air travel and rental car together, some have saved up to 60 percent!**
Whether you're just planning on exploring the local area or plan to see all of the greater Effingham area, we wish you well on your adventure.
The Commuter flights between Champaign and Chicago and back were very nice. The timing was not good for our transfer at O'hare and we had to change to a United flight. It was not as pleasant as the American planes.
Make sure to leave more than an hour for lay-overs at Chicago O'Hare!
At least one luggage should be free for returning customers.
Flight hostess Cassandra greeted us and took great care of all passengers even though seat #s were messed by the ORD crew due when they replaced the plane.
All good except on one segment they told me I had aisle seat (which I asked for) but it wasn't.
I was fortunate enough to have an exit row for two of the four flights on my trip. The two flights in regular seats were painful. I'm a little taller than average but it is impossible to sit without my knees pressing into the seat in front. Your staff was friendly from check-in to boarding to flight attendants. Two more inches of leg room would have been wonderful.
Would love a free upgrade. That never happens! I’m 6’’3”.
They did their best to make up for delay in departure time.
We left a cellphone on the plane and the staff were very helpful in returning it to us the next day!
So far, so good. TSA at IAH were rather rude and pushy, but otherwise not all that bad.
