“We enjoyed our stay at Baywatch Bungalow in Captain's Cove. The house is clean and is what it says in the listing. It's close to the beach (20 min.) and the town where the beach is. The town is small and had mini golf, ice cream, and shops but that is about it. That said there are some things you should know before staying in this community. The amenities fee is needed for all amenities (not just the pool). You need it for the bike trail, tennis, etc. Also, do not assume the neighbors will allow……

“Overall our stay here was great. The house was clean, and the furniture and beds were comfortable. The rooms are spacious. The only negatives for us were the very low water pressure in the shower, and having to park under a pine tree that dropped needles and sap all over our cars. All my interactions with the owner were great. ”

“We booked a last minute long weekend to the area and were very pleased with Bliss by the Bay. The property was very clean, beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well appointed. While we were only there for a few nights, it made a great home base for our trip to Chincoteague/Assateague. The only amenity that would have improved our stay was blackout shades (they were great in the master!) in the upstairs bedrooms. We have young kids and the evening sun made bedtime tough. ”
