“The Refuge Inn is a very special place to stay. It is the closest Inn to Assateague island. The staff welcome you and are so kind and pleasant. The Inn has an indoor pool and sauna. They also have an inexpensive bike rental on the other side of their parking lot. Family run it is beautifully decorated and maintained motel. They have a coral next to their parking lot with pony’s that were once wild living there. You can purchase feed and put it in troughs for them to much on while you take……

“We were in town for a memorial service for the family Patriarch. This property was perfect for the family. Large yard, fire pit was definitely used. The kitchen!! Two sinks, two oven and microwave! “This house was advertised as being able to fit 8 people. All 3 bedrooms had very worn out mattresses. The sleeper sofa was missing springs. Two of our family members had to sleep on the floor and an air mattress we purchased. There was not enough dinnerware and silverware for 8 people. The bar stool (for extra seating ) was so wobbly that no body dared to use it for fear of breaking. The deck would have been nice, if there was a dining table and four more chairs (there were 2 dining chairs……
