Book Wallops Island Bed & Breakfast

"This hotel was in a great location, well-kept, clean, staff was very personable and the breakfast was delicious. We had an upstairs balcony room and had gorgeous sunsets every night. Just a note for those thinking about booking here...do it. Side note...there is a restaurant next door to the hotel that had live music every day we were there. It was nice background noise, which could be heard softly in our room, but they were respectful of not playing late into the night. It seemed they stopped around 10pm. If you or your kids are extra sensitive to noise you may want to do an interior room. "

"Such a special place! This was our first stay at the Refuge Inn but will now be our go-to spot whenever we have a couple of nights to slip away to the beach. The hotel is immaculate, charming, and filled with warmth and care that the big chains simply cannot compete with. We loved the special soap they have made just for the hotel so much that we purchased some from the gift store. The room was a bit small for our family of 5 (including 3 teens) once they brought the toll-away bed in, but for a quick two night stay it worked just fine. Spent a bit of our last morning watching the ponies on site and fell in love with the young foals. We can hardly wait to come back. "

"We enjoyed our stay at Jesse's place! It was a short walk down to the water, had some good amenities, and when something unforeseen happened he was communicative and prepared for it and helped us out along the way. We didn't try out any of the appliances and I'm not sure this space is going to be comfortable for more than the 2 of us but since it was just 2 of us we enjoyed it very much. Will definitely plan to come back another time!"
