“The staff were very friendly! We felt welcomed the moment we walked in. Rooms were exceptionally clean. We stayed one night to visit the 250 Sail event in Cape Charles.”

“While the front desk lady was kind she admitted she didn’t know much about the area when I asked about restaurants. The room was clean but old with no maintenance of the faculty’s age. Railings were loose for example. Needs some TLC”

“Staff was very friendly and personable. Room was very clean. I found the website to be a bit deceptive with the photos and descriptions posted. Rooms may all be water “view” but not all are water “front”. Yes, there’s a view of Asateague Island and the marshes from the docks but you can’t see ponies from there—at least not w/o binoculars. It’s a good distance across that water!”

“I found it to be great value for the price. Wish I'd had enough time to enjoy the pool and fire pit, both looked very welcoming. The bar has happy hour, staff there are nice. Lots of variety at breakfast (though quality is basic). Nice view outside of the sunset. Wish they splurged a few more cents on better disposable in-room coffee cups/lids (lid fit is flimsy and cup bends - burning hot coffee ended up spilling all over me in the car).”
