"This is a very special property and I recommend it highly.It is very much a chateau/castle as per the photos, with lovely wood floors, styled ceilings, antique furniture. The beds are old fashioned but comfortable. The bathrooms are all modern and well equipped with good showers. The place is exceptionally well equipped - everything you could possibly need when it comes to dining and cooking. On arrival, there were some supplies to start us off till we could get to the shops, which was very generous. Everything is of very good quality and you are trusted to use lovely things. There was huge assortment of drawing and colouring materials and toys for the children, also board games. The pool is lovely and a good size. There is an amazing pool house which again is fully equipped with crockery, cutlery, fridge, and cooking facilities including a bbq.Phillipe and Marina live on site in another part of the chateau. They were perfect hosts, completely unobtrusive but helpful when we had questions. We stayed for two weeks, a family of three couples and two children. I'm not sure anyone ever bbq'd as much as we did, and Phillipe and Marina certainly had a lot to put up with, as we generated a lot of recycling and compost and so on, which they quietly dealt with along with keeping the pool clean, a challenge as the kids were in the pool from morning till night!Thank you so much to both of them for a most amazing stay and we would love to be able to return.,"

"Na een teleurstellende start van onze vakantie elders, konden we hier terecht en wat een verschil! We werden met z’n vieren en twee honden ontzettend hartelijk ontvangen. De honden konden genieten op het geweldige speelveld, wij van het zwembad en de oprechte gastvrijheid. Deze gastheer was gul, vriendelijk en deed zijn best om het ons naar de zin te maken. Niet alles hoeft perfect te zijn om een verblijf fijn te maken. Kleine minpuntjes wegen minder zwaar wanneer je je zo welkom voelt. Een plek met een warm hart. We gaan zeker een keer terug…."

"The hotel is in a very convenient location near Le Mans. In August 2026 there were building works going on on the site. The staff on reception were all very friendly, helpful and efficient. Breakfast was self service but a good range of foods and drinks on offer; the freshly squeezed orange juice was delicious. Be aware that the restaurant is not open on a Sunday evening; we unfortunately were not aware of this in advance! Our room was on the ground floor, spacious enough and very clean. As we were travelling with our dog, this was perfect. There is a small local park nearby which was also very useful."
