“This is an expensive option for a hotel with average rooms. Being kept waiting at reception on every occasion for €400 a night is also not great. The range of buffet food is exceptional and the staff are generally very pleasant and helpful. But the experience was somewhat spoiled by being thrown out of the room by the cleaner on the dot of checkout who despite not knocking and being asked to leave continued to empty bins and strip beds while we collected our things. ”

Natürlich muß man es mögen, daß sich das Waschbecken mitten im Zimmer befindet! Das Frühstück läßt auch keine Wünsche offen! Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Faro Lopesan! ”

The buffet food was the best of anywhere I’ve stayed before, but they could do with some more toasting machines at breakfast !….the only small criticism is the towels need replacing and the food at the pool bar was mediocre. Location is excellent for bus station and all amenities, bars and restaurants and the sand dunes !”
