We stayed Diamond Club which is the way to go. Tessalee and Ardley took very great care of us. Beach was lovely, loved the energetic vibes the only downpart was the food. It was a lot of nothing as i expected so it didn't leave a damper on my trip.

Checking in process was lengthy, no drink or towel offered at entrance, main dining had alot of flies especially in the bread area, cooking staff were not friendly, spoke around the meal, and prepared food and ate in the general view of guest. Waiters were not readily available and table was not set when seated. Italian for breakfast did not allow covering with swim suit however, guess was seen eating without shirt and female in bra swim suit without covering accepted. Bars were generally good, jerk hut and rooms were clean and temperature control in room was good, and pools were nice.

My time spent at the Royalton Hotel was exceedingly disappointing and left much to be desired. Upon check-in, my husband and I were allocated a room that was in a rather dilapidated condition, much to our dismay. The surfaces were marred with countless fingerprints, the remnants of previous guests left behind without a care for cleanliness. As we navigated the space, we were shocked to discover broken glass scattered across the floor, a hazardous situation that made us question the overall hygiene and safety standards of the establishment. The mini bar, rather than being a source of refreshment and relaxation, only added to our sense of disappointment. Several cans were found open, their contents exposed to the elements, hardly an inviting sight for two weary travelers seeking solace in the comfort of their room. Furthermore, the air conditioner, a basic amenity necessary for ensuring a comfortable stay, was out of order and failed to provide any relief from the stifling heat that permeated the room. Upon reporting these glaring issues to the hotel staff, we expressed our sincere wish to be transferred to alternative accommodations that were in better condition. However, to our dismay, we were met with a disheartening response - the hotel claimed that there were no other rooms available for us to move to. This lack of flexibility and willingness to address our concerns only served to compound our already negative experience, leaving us feeling abandoned and disheartened. I

We stayed at the hideaway section and it didn’t have enough options for the price point. We frequent the pool bar daily and the staff was friendly, attentive and polite. The only concern we had was that the pool deck wasn’t cleaned daily. The same dirt and debris was in the same place we left it day after day by the pool bar. Also, the AC in the gym didn’t work.

If you came here to eat authentic Jamaican food think again! Food was absolutely terrible! I had a 5 night stay I literally only ate at the resort 3 times total! Food so bad we ate out to have better tasting food !!

The resort is dirty especially the buffet dining room with cockroaches crawling around in the walls and tables. Public restrooms are dirty. The staff needs more training. Very poor attitude and took a long time to respond to requests. The Royalton Montego Bay is awful. We have stayed in Royalton Punta Cana and it was excellent. The only good staff was Joan Jackson, at Grazie Tratorria. She is amazing and has great attitude and service. Everyone else acts like they are not happy working there. Customer service needs to improve. Food needs to improve. Cleanliness should be a priority.

The staff needs to be pleasant, approachable and friendlier. Joanne from Grazie Trattoria ia the only staff we found that slways wear a smile on her face. We found cockroaches and flies flying in the buffet area , public bathrooms not clean and well supplied. Need to have hand sanitizers in all the restaurants since people are in and out from the pool and beach area to dine in

The room was way tooo small. The atmosphere was less than average and the property had no hot water from check in at 2pm until the following morning. The toilet rocked and the air conditioning was minimal at best. The front desk was not accommodating at all. I did not experience luxury at all. I will never stay at a Royalton ever again. Ohhhh the young lady that cleaned our room was a pleasure.

The resort is nice and clean. The workers are kind and courteous. My only complaint is that you have to reserve for dinner in person…it’s 2024 lol would like a better choice of tequila.

Check-in was poor, room wasn’t ready until 3.5 hours after arriving. No beverages in mini “bar”. Balcony door was stuck and broke at the bottom. The rooms air conditioning was not working properly.
