Apartment of 130 square meters, with 3 bedrooms, bathroom, living room, kitchen, terrace, overlooking the countryside and the sea, with a large garden. A short walk from the town center, where you will find shops with typical Tuscan products, meats, cheeses, olive oil and wine, a super butcher rotisserie, where you can get the true Florentine Steak, and the best meats in our area. In addition there are pizzerias, restaurants, bars, pharmacy, all surrounded by stunning Tuscan countryside. WI-FI FREE
The apartment is located about 1 hour from Pisa 1.5 hours from Florence. Ideal for exploring Tuscany is the hinterland such as Volterra, without giving up the sea.
Great for hiking, mountain biking, or walking in the woods.

Wonderful spot in the warm heart of Tuscany
We stayed here in Monteverdi for a month with our two older kids (and our dog) and had an amazing stay - we didn't want to leave! The whole family is so warm and welcoming. They made us feel like family and helped us with anything needed. The town is in the hills about 30 min from the sea and it was so easy to drive to various towns, cities, and natural sights like the geothermal museum. We could easily walk to the grocery and restaurants within 5 minutes and enjoyed the local thermal baths (Terme Di Sassetta was magical) and the hikes as well. We also had the most fun making pasta with the family, which was such a special treat. We highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to explore the hill regions of Tuscany and the surrounding towns. We were able to do day trips to San Gimignano, Lucca, Florence, Siena, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Saturnia hot springs, and Volterra among others - they were all 1-2.5 hrs away. We loved our time in Italy and we love the people there - especially Andres, Tania, Dante, and Giuliana. Thank you for a wonderful experience! We hope to return one day.

Der Aufenthalt war toll, die Vermieter sehr nett und die Küche ist vollständig ausgestattet. Man braucht nichts mitzunehmen. Auch spülmittel und taps sind da. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kamen bestens erholt nach Hause. Jederzeit gerne wieder! Wir können es nur weiterempfehlen.

Wir haben uns in der schönen großen Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und Frühstück auf der Terrasse genossen. Das Haus liegt in einem kleinen hübschen Dorf in traumhafter Toskana-Umgebung. Beim Yoga im Garten zwischen Oliven- und Feigenbäumen war ich glücklich. Unsere Gastgeberin hat uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt. Vielen lieben Dank für die wundervollen Tage in liebevoller Umgebung.

Lovely stay!
Staying at Andrea’s home was like being at home. We’ve been there for a month as a family of 4 and a dog. Guiliana is a wonderful woman who helped with all concerns. Einfach zum wohlfühlen
Mal davon abgesehen, dass die Wohnung alles hat was man braucht und noch viel viel mehr, wurden wir mit absoluter Herzlichkeit empfangen. Toskana außerhalb der größeren Städte
Wir haben zwei sehr erholsame Juniwochen in dieser großzügigen, wunderbar ausgestatteten Wohnung verbracht! Hier waren nicht nur Waschmaschine und Spülmaschine sondern sogar Bügeleisen und Bügelbrett vorhanden... Der Kontakt zu Andrea und Giuliana klappte hervorragend! Der kleine Ort wurde in den bisherigen Bewertungen schon gut beschrieben, hervorheben möchten wir zudem noch die Trattoria mit ihren köstlichen regionalen Gerichten. Wenn man die Toskana kennenlernen möchte, die nicht die der klassischen Postkarten ist, sondern die das Leben der kleinen Orte inmitten der Natur erleben lässt, ist man in Monteverdi genau richtig. Man trifft in der Gegend auf Wildschweine, Rehe und Eulen, mit viel Glück soll man auch Füchsen und Dachsen begegnen können. Immer einen Besuch wert fanden wir die kleinen Märkte in den umliegenden Dörfern und Städtchen, die weit mehr als nur kulinarische Stände boten. Wenn man sich darauf einstellt, viel mit dem Auto unterwegs zu sein, um das Umfeld kennenzulernen, kann man eine eindrucksvolle Region mit äußerst freundlichen Menschen erleben. Wir kommen gern wieder!

Große Wohnung mit toskanischen Flair und großem Garten
Die Wohnung liegt in einem kleinen toskanischen Dorf mit alten schönen Gassen. Restaurant und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für den täglichen Bedarf sind in 5 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen. Herzliche Gastgeberin wohnt direkt darüber. Gemütlicher großer Garten lädt zum Spielen und Ausruhen ein.

Wir waren insgesamt für 5 Tage da und waren wirklich total begeistert von der wunderschönen, gemütlichen Ferienwohnung! Die Lage war super, es war sehr ruhig und zum spazieren gehen einfach nur wunderschön. Nicht weit weg von der FeWo gabs einen Spielplatz, für Kinder wirklich super. Die Wohnung war sauber & die Kommunikation mit Andrea total unkompliziert. Wir wurden super lieb empfangen und haben uns direkt total Wohlgefühlt. :-)

Toller Aufenhthalt in der Toskana
Wir können uns nur den vielen Bewertungen zuvor anschließen. Das Objekt ist so wie beschrieben. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter lief problemlos und war sehr nett. Seine Mutter, die über der Fewo wohnt, hat uns vor Ort erwartet. Der Ort ist auch sehr schön, die Anfahrt in die Berge aber nicht ganz kurz. Aber für die vielen Ausflüge gut geeignet. Für Badeurlaub aber eher nicht. Wir waren auch für einen Tagesausflug auf Elba, der Fährhafen Piombino ist 40 km entfernt, das war alles sehr gut machbar und können wir nur empfehlen. Wir würden sehr gern wieder kommen.

Urlaub zu Sechst
Wir waren zu sechst für acht Tage da und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Einziges Manko ist die Toilettenspühlung, die sehr lange braucht um wieder voll zu werden und auch ziemlich laut ist. Andrea war sehr hilfsbereit auch wenn wir ihn leider nicht persönlich angetroffen haben. Vor Ort kümmert sich seine Mutter um die Wohnung und obwohl wir kein italienisch konnten hat die Kommunikation doch geklappt. Das Dorf ist sehr niedlich und es gibt sogar einen Spielplatz für Kinder und ein paar kleine Läden. Ans Meer braucht man ca35 Minuten. Pisa und Volterra sind ca 1 Stunde entfernt, San Gimignano 1,5 Stunden und Florenz 2,5 Stunden.

Schöne Location zum Abschalten und Entspannen.
Andrea ist ein hervorragender Host, der sich aus der Ferne per WhatsApp umfassend um seine Gäste kümmert. Seine Mutter ergänzt mit TranslationApp und persönlicher Präsenz vor Ort. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht, um sich selbst zu versorgen. Die Räumlichkeiten sind etwas älter, aber sauber und ordentlich - wie auf den Fotos gezeigt. Das Platzangebot ist sehr großzügig. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist gut. Wir hätten uns zusätzlichen Schnakengitter auch im Küchenbereich gewünscht. Monteverdi Marittimo ist ein wunderschöner Ort mit viel italienischem Charme. Wer nicht den größten Wert auf einen Badeurlaub legt und eher die Ruhe sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir haben das Haus als Rückzugsort sehr genossen und die Ausflugsziele der Toskana können von hier aus problemlos gestartet werden. Absolut empfehlenswert im Ort sind der hervorragender Metzger Fam. Grassi und das einzigartige Feinkostgeschäft Mucci e Staccioli. Wir danken Fam. Donati nochmals für einen wunderschönen sehr erholsamen Urlaub mit allen Schönheiten der Toskana.

Nette Unterkunft. Für den Preis mehr als in Ordnung. Etwas abgelegen, aber für Kultur muss man in der Toskana eh einige Kilometer machen. Dafür lebt man in direktem Kontakt zu Hirschen und Wildschweinen in einem netten kleinen Ort.

Ich habe eine differenzierte Bewertung gemacht, die vom System 5 Mal in veränderter Form abgelehnt wurde. Frust pur. Kurzzusammenfassung: Die Wohnung war grosszügiger als erwartet. Alles funktional und - wie mehrfach geschrieben - dem Preis angemessen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war stets express-schnell und gut. Die Mutter vor Ort war sehr herzlich. Der Ort versprüht mehr Leben, als wir erwartet hatten. Es lohnt sich für Entdecker der Toskana, jedoch weniger für reine Strandurlauber.

Viel Platz in ruhiger Umgebung
Der Vermieter spricht sehr gut Englisch, die Mutter, die mit im Haus wohnt, sehr gut Italienisch ;-) Beide sind sehr nett. Der Weg ans Meer dauert länger, als wir dachten. Aber die Umgebung ist sehr schön (schöne Altstädte, heiße Quellen, Wildschweine und Glühwürmchen live.

Schöne Osterferien in der Toskana
Wir haben hier 12 schöne Tage verbracht. Bei der Anreise war es noch relativ kühl, aber die Wohnung war schon beheizt und sehr gemütlich. Die Wohnung liegt in den Bergen und man muss eigentlich immer Serpentinen fahren, wenn man in einen anderen Ort will. Die Wohnung ist sehr geräumig und wie auf den Bildern ausgestattet. Alles hat funktioniert und war sehr sauber. Die Einrichtung ist schon etwas älter, aber erfüllt ihren Zweck. Man muss auch immer den Mietpreis mit in die Bewertung einfließen lassen und dieser ist hier vollkommen angemessen. Die Heizung erfolgte ohne Mehrkosten. (Dieses möchte ich hervorheben, da man in anderen Ferienwohnungen da noch einmal ordentliche Mehrkosten hat.) Die Duschkabine sollte einmal erneuert werden. Im Ort gibt es mindestens zwei Lebensmittelläden, die alles anbieten, was man braucht. Allerdings waren wir öfter im Conad in Castagneto Carducci (an der Küstenstraße) zum Einkaufen und auch günstig Tanken. Für die Kinder gab es Ostergeschenke, was wir besonders nett und aufmerksam fanden. Wenn wir wider in die Gegend fahren würden, würden wir diese Ferienwohnung wieder nehmen.

Great Holidays in Tuscany
We had a great time in the mountains of Tuscany not far from the sea with great beaches. The conversation worked really well. Andrea answered really fast via whatsapp (in English) and his mother (Italian speaking) solved every little quest we had immediatly.
