Goggle maps took us down an alleyway. Looked rundown from the street. They had the right idea with the tiny home but climbing up and down a metal ladder to get into bed was not ideal. The wood floor was probably nice at one time but nailed down where coming loose. The place was inviting, had every amenity you could need in a yurt. Megan even supplied me with extra heaters which I was grateful for. Having the creek and open space was just wonderful, it's a very pretty setting. The cons: I was cold even in the bed even with 3 heaters going and 2 blankets and wearing my hoodie. Having some throw rugs or even some basic office carpet tiles would be nice. There were a lot of bugs inside, even some fly tape could have helped, as they were landing all over me, going up my nose and in my ears. The park is also close to two busy streets, so I was awakened at the crack of dawn which kind of stunk. Would I recommend the place? Absolutely yes, but next time I would probably stay in a tiny home or cabin where I could block out the street noise more and hopefully have less bugs.
