The home was perfect for a mom getaway. The hosts were very easy to get in touch with and extremely helpful and very understanding when we almost got snowed in. We are hoping to re book this property for future events.

Beautiful house and property. Our family enjoyed all the amenities and the grandkids loved being able to swim in March. Communication prior to arriving and through-out stay was excellent and host was immediate in responding to questions. Really peaceful get away.

the property design (set up) was perfect for our needs as far as the amount of rooms/beds/pool/activities BUT based on Many negatives with the cleanliness and maintenance problems we would NOT stay at this property again. It is poorly maintained/lack cleanliness. 1- Leaking water from roof in the Pool Room...water dripping all over in the ceilings. 2-Sheets in 3 of the rooms were dirty (hair was seen on all 3 on the sheets and pillows and Stains on some of the sheets. 4- Bedspreads in a couple of the rooms were filthy, one had Black stains all over it. 5- Exhaust Fan in Master Bath is full of Lent. 6- Some Showers have Mold around the Tiles. 7- Carpets very dirty and stained. 8- Dust/Spider Webs in many corners around rooms/ceiling. 9- Light Bulbs out in 2 Rooms (7 total). the family room was poorly lit up. 10-Inside Garage was filled with holiday decorations and boxes and bags and Christmas bulbs all over the ground.. We had to move things around and on top of each other in order to be able to pull the car in. 11-There is Black ASH or smoot on the stone in front of the fire place and some on floors) 12- Bed in M/B is super low lumpy and uneven (needs replacing Walls are marked up all over and damaged in some areas and window sills in many areas were filthy. 15-No Toilet Paper in upstairs bathroom. 16- no blow dryers in any Bed/R. 17-Walls are marked up all over window sills in many areas were filthy. 18- Washed out Rock Driveway in areas

Communication with the host was top notch!!Cleanliness of the whole place was NOT. I could attach pictures if there was an option. Dirty dishes were in the cabinets, mold on the bedsheets. The house was so dirty, I did not want to get in the hot tub, because if the house is not clean then you know they are not cleaning the hot tub. House is very outdated. We made the best of it, but will not be returning to this property. I do think the cleaning deposit should be refunded. If the owners wpuloke to contact me,I can provide pictures.

Cobwebs in the house all throughout. The floors were so dirty we could not walk around barefoot.

Our family and friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the property. The kids had a blast and were never bored. With outside games, a putting green, a pool table and foosball, a theater room with games, a hot tub, and the big INDOOR pool no one could say they had “nothing to do”… what a win! Appliances worked well, plenty of TVs for entertainment, the pool was heated, the house was clean and comfortable. Blue Ridge and several conveniences are only minutes away, but we had a large, private, quiet lot tucked in the hills. To top it off, Ash was one of the most helpful and communicative hosts I’ve experienced with Vrbo. Cheers to a great stay, a great host, and the fun memories others will make here!

We had an amazing stay here. The host was fast to answer any questions and fix any problems we had. I didn’t have a single moment that I felt I wasn’t heard if I needed something. The view is beautiful and the amenities kept the family - big and little, busy the whole stay (which was 4 whole days).

House was very spacious and accommodated 10 girls for a bachelorette trip! The location was very private and secluded. The house is a little challenging to find but the host did a great job providing instructions so we were able to find it with no problem! The pool is indoors so the house constantly feels like there is moisture in the air but if you keep the door to the pool area closed that seems to help. Our favorite part of the house was the huge kitchen and the porch! Would definitely recommend this property and would stay again if we are in the area!

Place was clean and communication with host was very good. Advertised for 14 people. Beds for 14, however kitchen tables and counter totaled seating for 13. Living room was large but only had furniture seating for 6 maybe 7. Theatre room had seating for maybe 7. Firepit seating maybe 7.Kids loved the indoor pool and outside woods! Easy location for Blue Ridge.

We loved this house!! Everything was nice and clean. Check in was easy. Kitchen has everything you need. Plenty of room. My kids loved the pool and didnt want to get out! Host was very helpful throughout the stay.

Excellent communication led to a fantastic 5 day stay with plenty to keep all ages occupied. House more than served our needs. Kitchen had everything we needed and the indoor pool and movie room were perfect. The two little boys were so excited about the big machinery working next door. We had to take a walk every day to watch them work. A great week.

The family had a nice time at the house and in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It’s a beautiful secluded house in the woods but close to stores if you need them . The kitchen is very nice and has everything you need. My only complaint is to fix some of the holes in the walls and to clean the carpets with stains . I could see a lot of holes where patched but had not been painted. The only other concern was the gravel road leading to the house had a lot of dangerous spots that messed up one of our cars with all of the pot holes or the way the gravel road has deteriorated over time. Overall we enjoyed our time there and the host kept in touch . We had an issue with the hot tub and the host stayed in touch to make sure everything was working correctly. We got it fixed and all good. I would recommend the stay to others and we enjoyed our quiet family time together.

Great place to relax and celebrate

Our friends and family really enjoyed New Hope Retreat. Plenty of room to visit together. Hanging out in the living room and open kitchen. The game room was so much fun right by the indoor pool. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

OK for the price but don't ask to heat the pool

Property is in decent proximity to downtown Blue Ridge. The house has many amenities although dated. The house wasn't as clean as I would have normally expected. I found dirty dishes in the dishwasher that I had to run and put away. Some surfaces had dust and some bugs throughout the house. Cost to have the pool heated is unreasonably expensive (100/ day). I was alarmed to find out that someone, likely associated with the property, entered the property while we were away without me being notified. I alerted the manager through and was never given an explanation. Overall ok but a bit mismanaged and would not rent again.

Great and spacious property!

We really enjoyed our stay here. The check in process went well! The property manager regularly keeps in touch throughout your stay to make sure everything is up to par. We had a minor incident when we got to the house regarding a cleaning situation but it’s was quickly rectified with no issue! This home is ideal for a multi family getaway! Lots of room and rooms for everyone to have space and privacy. The home is secured in the woods but also close to all areas of Blue Ridge. We’ll definitely come back during the summer to enjoy more amenities this home and area has to offer!

Great house to spend time with the family.

My sister and I and ate kids and grandkids had a wonderful stay at Thanksgiving. The pool was perfect for letting the 2 younger ones burn off some energy. We may book again for this Thanksgiving!
