  • Get away from it all & be close to everything at Deer Ridge Retreat! After enjoying a day on Blue Ridge Lake, at local wineries, tubing the Toccoa, hiking the Appalachian Trail, or taking in the beautiful North GA mountains, come back & enjoy everything this cozy cabin has to offer. Relax on the 2 screened porches off the main floor & bedrooms, read a book on the porch swing bed, enjoy a glass of wine by the firepit, & grill up steaks on the JennAir Grill. Spend your days relaxing or your evenings winding down here! Your trip will surely include visits from our deer friends and the peaceful sounds of our babbling brook.

    3 miles to Blue Ridge Lake (Morganton Point Rec Area: boat ramp, beach, camping, swim area, kayak & paddle board rental. It's so much fun!)
    4 miles to Serenberry Vineyards
    5 miles to Serenity in the Mountains (the most amazing spa!)
    7 miles to Downtown Blue Ridge with lots of shopping, breweries, festivals, and restaurants, and the scenic railway
    8 miles to Mercier Orchards for Apple Picking, the BEST cider donuts, a store with sauces, dips, jams, and more and even taste their hard cider on tap.

    Fish the Toccoa River, the Trout Capital of GA.

    Less than an hour to Brasstown Bald, Dahlonega, Helen, and Amicalola Falls.
