I enjoyed seeing the bison, although they were not in the pasture near the cabins, you could see them about a mile away if you stopped on the side of the road. There are other animals to enjoy, too, horses, miniature horses, chickens, and ducks.
Our cabin (155) was very nice and we enjoyed sitting on the porch. But there is a big tree in front which limits any views you would have of the pasture or of Zion Park.
There is room between the cabins for some privacy.
The food at the restaurant is delicious. But it was hot in there and they have overhead fans but didn’t turn them on. Plus there were a lot of flies around our table.
The staff is very friendly at check in and another person helped us set up a horseback ride for the next morning.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
GREAT staff! Very friendly and responsive. Switched our accommodation location quickly and efficiently. Our grandkids were treated to a great experience with the friendly animals in the common area (baby horses, shetland ponies, dogs, ducks, nesting swallows, and a herd of bison just down the road. Everything was great. Recommend for families very highly.
We loved the ranch atmosphere and incredible views! It has a very good restaurant on property with delicious food. Our 2 bedroom cabin was very spacious with views of the ranch and canyon- bison could even be seen grazing. If you are looking for peace and quiet in a very remote setting, this is the place. 40 minute drive to Zion and a little over an hour to Bryce- so a good mid-point to both if you don’t mind a little driving.
