"Beautifully located hotel. You even local foreigners coming in just for Sunday breakfast, so it must be popular. Some of the decor looked a little in need of some love and attention, but overall a beautiful elegant property."
"Tres decu de la propreté de cet hotel. Les accessoires en chambres sont désuets. Les planchers en bois flottant sont releves et a changer. La.plomberie de.la douche est tres desuette egalement.
Staff sympathique.
Propreté a desirer dans les chambres.
En transit c est ok."
"Avoid this hotel. The hotel is not maintained and the basic functions, heating/cooling, lack of cleanliness, plumbing and response to immediate and continuous issues was poorly handled. We had to leave. We were moved from 2 rooms on the 3rd floor with overwhelming moisture and cooling failure and a disgusting mildew odor. There were casual efforts to open windows and spray something that did nothing. The moisture and mold issues were obviously li standing. We were moved to other rooms on the 1st floor and then to two alternative ones on the 1st floor, with the same issues with plaster and light fixtures literally falling off the wall due to moisture. The doorman actually tried to bring us into and occupied room and the women was shocked, and scared. The rooms are actually falling apart. The staff is clearly expecting these concerns but they truly have no ability to fix the issues. They say ownership have been notified of the extensive issues and they “seem to do nothing” . The staff is helpless to correct any of it . We had to leave. We may or may not get our money back but the place is uninhabitable and should not be rented until overhauled. "
"Not exceptional. The hotel was comfortable with, “no frills”. The staff was continuously working for some sort of underhanded/under the table “commissions”, “cut of the action”, with every single thing we attempted to work out with the concierge or drivers. A simple hotel car became too much and not safe for any of us. Constant manipulation of the truth, demands that the car be paid for in cash instead of the agreed on payment to the hotel. We were told the “hotel car cannot go there to that restaurant”, but I can take you privately to, another good one”. The private car shows up and not the hotel van that we hired. We were denied being brought completely back to the hotel because the “hotel driver “, brought his own car and said his boss would be mad. We were only brought to the hotel next door since this driver could not enter our security gate. The entire 2 days felt like a continuous con job and the entire staff (concierge, drivers and front desk) seemed to work together to make side profits. They wasted our 2 days to enjoy Maputo and the area. "
"The hotel doesn't have it's own gym but actually have an agreement with the spa/gym next door that allows hotel guest to get a single use pass. This resulted in the best hotel gym experience ever. Lol
The hotel also has a great location being close to a small shopping mall and cool restaurants with ocean views. "
"Clean large beautiful room on the 8th floor. I paid 170US for one night. View of the ocean was great. There was a Chinese grocery store nearby that had many items and in particular oatmeal. The hotel was 100m from my bus pick up point at Mundos which was great since the pick up time was 530am.
Though i didn't need it, the doorman brought my bag to the cheetah express bus pick up point down the street. It gave me confidence i was in the right place as I'm traveling alone and new to the area."
"Our stay was lovely. The staff were super nice and kind. They welcomed us in such a warm way, as well as for the farewell.
The atmosphere was great. The food was exquisite. I was there with my mom and we had a lovely time.
We can only say positive and good things about the hotel and their staff. We can’t wait to come back already!
