“Ian’s cabin was an excellent place to stay near Mount Hood! The cabin was a perfect and peaceful place with everything we needed. Ian also had several recommendations for hikes and restaurants in his guest book that were perfect to go check out. Highly recommend but will note for those that may not notice in the listing there is no WiFi and very little to no cell signal. ”

“We had the most wonderful stay in this adorable cabin in the woods. The place is beautiful and well maintained. I would highly recommend staying at this lovely retreat.”

“Cabin was perfect for the three of us. A well equipped kitchen, bathrooms on each floor, plenty of towels and a laundry area (shared with downstairs bathroom) made for extra convenience! Our bed was nice & firm and our son said the twin beds were firm as well. Didn't use the loft bed, but used a pillow from it. (NOTE: You might want to bring an extra pillow or two as we didnt see any extras in the closets) The uncovered hot tub on the deck overlooking the river was great and made special when...

“This was our visit to the area, and this place was great! Comfortable sleeping spaces with plenty of room. (We were 4, but the place could easily sleep 6). Wildwood (just down the road) was a beautiful oasis and the proximity to other hiking/fishing/recreation was outstanding. The hosts were excellent communicators and clearly care about helping guests have a good experience. ”

“Amazing location! The ONLY warning… bring your own pillow and coffee filters. The pillows were rough and there are no coffee filters. Everything else was fantastic!!”

“Overall very clean. Cobwebs on the lamp. The small bed is very uncomfortable. A soft topper would take care of that problem. Master bed is awesome!! Great stove and refrigerator! Nice view from the master and dining room. Looks just like the photos. There’s a great walking pathway at the river. Go left. Had a super nice time there!”

“We stayed overnight and were blown away by how beautiful, private, and comfortable everything was. We did not want to leave. The shower and bathroom were clean and nice. I loved using the outdoor shower, and bathtub under the stars. Hearing the creek at night, with such a comfortable bed, I think I had the best night of sleep I had in a very long time. We held baby chickens, pet goats, alpaca, and an adorable mini horse. I already want to go back. ”

“Our stay in government camp was great at this cabin! Very close to mount hood hikes and activities as well as only an hourish drive from portland! Blane was very responsive to our questions and the cabin was well kept and perfect for the 2 of us staying. The bed was exceptionally comfy. Also, the surrounding town is very cute with several options of places to eat and a general store that had everything you could need!”
