Super cool place. We love a hotel that isn't bland and beige and could-be-anywhere, and Ruby Marie is anything but! Instead it's an old converted railroad hotel with lots of cool details, gorgeous vintage oak furniture, and tasteful decorations that nod to its past history. Scrupulously clean also. Would absolutely stay here again.

The best hotel in Madison, IMO, and I have stayed in quite a few of them. We loved everything about our recent stay. The room was clean, with a great view, the exercise room was far better than most, with a bigger space and more equipment. The pool was spacious, and the pool area has a sauna and a hot tub. We also loved the on site parking, at a reasonable price in a secure lot. And our parking was good until 6:00pm, day of checkout, which was much appreciated. The location is just a short walk to CapitolSquare and State St. The staff was super nice and helpful, and there’s a Starbucks in the lobby, so what more could you ask for?
