Over-Priced & Not Good. Booked 2 Nights, Stayed one. Booked a hillside room which was the equivalent of an overpriced motel room and was not clean--with no hot water at 8:00 am to top it off. In the "exclusive"overnight-guest-only area, the swimming pool was only 1/2 full and cascading hot pools were murky and not very hot. The place had a barely friendly, corporate-hotel vibe. Not Relaxing. Though to their credit they did not charge us for 2 nights, despite a stated no-refund policy, and gave us a discount for the one night we did stay. We found a wonderful old boutique hotel in Salida and booked an entire suite with full kitchen for less $$ (even when taking into account the day passes we purchased at another hot spring). Won't be back.

Sadly, even with recent improvements, this place is over priced and dumpy. Men’s locker room needs updating. Staff is unfriendly and unhelpful.
