Muju Vacation Packages
Muju is located 100 miles (161 kilometers) northwest of Busan and 110 miles (177 kilometers) south of Seoul, the capital of South Korea.
And of course, there is more to North Jeolla than just Muju, so try to allow a few days to discover the region's natural and cultural sights. Jinan, is 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the northeast, and Geochang sits 25 miles (40 kilometers) to the northwest.
While you are staying in Muju, why don't you spend a few hours exploring Daejeon. Approximately 30 miles (48 kilometers) to the northwest, this regional city is where you can find Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Deogyu-san National Park and Daejeon Space Observatory. And don't head back to Muju until you've spent a little time at Daejeon's Gayang Park, Songni-san National Park and Natural History Museum.
Spend the time to delve deeper into North Jeolla by learning a little about its earlier chapters. A great way to begin is with a visit to the area's historically significant fortresses. For a budget-friendly, outdoor experience that the whole family will enjoy, take the time to stop by the region's fascinating open-air museums and gardens.
Try out some of the area's great winter attractions. Locals and tourists alike enjoy skiing here. Snow shoeing is also popular.
The handiest major airport, Cheongju International Airport, is located in Cheongju, 50 miles (80 kilometers) to the north of Muju, so take that into account when booking your vacation.
