Welcome to Munising Michigan, the home of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Waterfalls, Boat Cruises, Scenic Tours, and some great Yooper Pasties! Located downtown close to all the local attractions this newly remodeled apartment comes complete with two bedrooms, full bath, open concept kitchen and living space, wifi, and cable tv. This apartment is perfect for short or long stays, whether you are passing through on vacation, or coming up for work and looking for furnished housing. We have recently added a grill outback for guest use, this is shared with unit #1 as well. There is a firepit and seating that is also shared with the other guests staying in the units. Pet friendly for dogs up to 30lbs, 2 dog limit and there is a $53/pet fee plus a one time $30 cleaning charge. Located on the 2nd Floor, the stairwell includes 21 steps to access the units. Larger groups can rent more than one unit in the building if needed, there is a total of 4. Call us for more information.

**PETS! Airbnb may only charge you for the 1st pet, you will be requested to send an additional $50 plus tax ($53) per pet. Our pet policy is $50/pet plus tax plus an additional one time cleaning charge of $30. If Airbnb does not collect this amount you are still responsible. We're respecting your pet, so please respect our pet policy. Clean up after your pet, please do not allow pets on furniture. Please keep kenneled if left alone. If your pet barks when you are gone, please do not leave it alone.

Great location for exploring the UP

We made this VRBO our central location to explore the Munising and Marquette area. The unit was perfect for our needs. We slept 3 kids in one bedroom and my wife and I took the other bed. Beds were comfy. Location was perfect and central for all our needs. We appreciated being within walking distance of restaurants as well. The host was very responsive when we had an issue with the show not draining and was fixed right away. Great host!

Great little place

We used this as a home base to take fall color tour to the east and west ends of the UP. Would stay here again.

Perfect location

Perfect location, apartment was super cute and clean, easy check in and out…Only complaint is the shower. The tub was clogged so it filled up with water while showering and the hot and cold kept switching on its own. Other than that, I would definitely recommend

Great stay

Good location, clean, well equipped kitchen, nice. We enjoyed our stay. One improvement would be a table large enough for games. Even a just a folding table. I would rent again.

Great location !

The property had everything we needed for our short stay. My husband and I and four children had a comfortable stay. It was spacious and mostly clean. I’m kind of picky and found crumbs on the furniture and bedside tables and a dirty island when we got there. Not a huge deal but something I noticed right away. I would recommend this property for sure .

Vacation

We had a great time on our vacation. Explored the waterfalls, trails and Pictured Rocks. You must ride "Rip Tide" What a blast! Ate a lot of good food. Especially the white fish. Loved it! The apartment was like home away from home. Apartment manager was awesome too. We'll be back. :)

Great location

Was hoping to use Munising and this property in particular as a home base of sorts for a trip in/around the UP, and this listing is absolutely perfect for that. Right in the middle of pretty much everything, maybe 20 minutes from the Pictured Rocks area, but within walking distance of restaurants/breweries/coffee shops. Property was clean and exactly as pictured. Plenty of room with some updates, especially in kitchen and bath. Owners communicated expectations and instructions in a timely manner. Would love to return to this area and this property in the future!

Munising apartment

Fresh remodel w tasteful, stylish decor. Big, soft bath towels. Kitchen well equipped-thanks for stocking the Keurig w Kcups. Great location-pictured rocks shoreline is beautiful! Walk to many downtown restaurants, ice cream, etc. Window AC units slightly loud (but so glad they cooled well!) Advertised as having a DVD player, but there was No DVD player (no biggie). Felt like home for our family of 4. Great vacation stay. Thank you!

Perfect for a long weekend to Pictured Rocks

Spent 3 nights here with myself and 2 sisters. Had a great stay. Ideal location right downtown. Unit is clean and comfortable. Made one meal in kitchen and had everything we needed. Open floor plan to living room area was great. 2 separate bedrooms gave us each our own bed. Would definitely stay here again. Would work well for family with 2 kids as well. Did text property manager with no response but it was only because we brought DVDs to watch and couldn’t find the DVD player that was In the listing. Because it wasn’t a big deal, didn’t try real hard to get in contact with manager. Also would recommend a box of Kleenex. Never thought to bring any. Used lots of TP instead 😊 Highly recommend. Next time I’m back, would stay here again!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed 2 nights. Did the 5-hour ultimate kayak tour, glass bottom boat ride and hiked some waterfalls. The location is perfect for a short vacation. If you want the BEST breakfast and kind service, visit Earl E Byrds across the street (7am - 2pm). Best pancakes we've ever had!!! The apartment was clean and quiet. Our only complaint would be the bedrooms. All 3 beds are super uncomfortable, squeaky loud, and neither room has a place to put your stuff ... no dressers, no closets. The AC units worked well. It's a good value, would recommend for a convenient, quick stay.

Pictured Rocks

The location is perfect. Easily walk to restaurants, shopping and the picture rocks boat tour. The apartment is nicely renovated. My only complaint is the shower head is very low. If you’re taller than 5’2”, you have to get creative.

Short Snowmobile Weekend

The apartment was great, just as the pictures detail, easy to access, close to everything, beds were nice, coffee maker, parking was easy on the street and behind the property at night. Will definitely consider this property again for future snowmobile trips. Much better than a hotel.

Stay in downtown Munising

We had a wonderful time in Munising! The apartment was so comfortable, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The downtown location is great! The perfect place for enjoying walks downtown, the Pictured Rocks cruise, and an easy drive to so many amazing waterfalls. We will definitely plan to stay here again!

Beautiful Cozy Stay

This apartment in Munising was in the perfect location. We were right downtown munising so we could walk to all of the local dives and coffee shops. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to call home for the past three days of our stay. My only thoughts: the floors felt like they were waxed. Super slippery but at least I knew it was clean! I had some trouble with the microwave stopping after 2 seconds, only got to work once but not a big deal. Otherwise fantastic place! I would 100% recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Munising area!

Great Spot to Explore Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore

The downtown Munising location is a great place to stay if you want to explore Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore. It is close to the hiking trails, waterfalls and tour operators. We also appreciated that you could walk to the local resturants, coffee shops and brew pubs. The apartment offered two good sized bedrooms, and a spacious bathroom. It was great to have access to a grill. The host is very responsive with an questions or concerns. There are two things to know if you stay here. First, guests are often up early for activities. This is an older building and the stairs are creaky, so there can be lots of noise in the morning. If you like to sleep late this might be irritating. A couple of the other rental properties in Munising will warn potential guests about this problem. Second, there are curtains, but not blackout curtains, so there is lots of light in the front units from the street lights.

Wonderful vacation!

We loved it! It was a bit smaller than all six of us are used to with only one bathroom and two bedrooms but we made it work. The only complaint I have is that there were 6 of us and only 4 bowls - so cereal in the morning was a problem and ice cream at night! Other than that it was very clean and felt like home. The kids bedroom door would not stay closed so they put a bag in front of the door. And clear tape in the shower was weird but it worked just fine. Overall I would stay there again if I was going to vacation that direction again.
