WOW, what a wonderful condo and great spot on the beach. The place was so clean and up to date. Pool was perfect. Literally steps to pristine beach. Many great restaurants and attractions close by including Murrells Inlet yet beach not overcrowded, Garden City Reality very easy to deal with. Thank you for a fabulous week, We would definitely recommend.

We used to regularly rent this condo each year until my parents could no longer do stairs(the elevator is great).Wish they were still with us so we could take them back to visit. We cook & condo is equipped with everything you need (except a spaghetti tool). I bought one & left it inIn the unit. The unit was clean, beds were comfortable & it was decorated so beautifully. Even the weather was fantastic all week! To the owners we say “thank you for sharing your home with us”. We will visit again. Also it was nice to see that this unit has been so well taken care of!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time and the staff at Garden city Realty were great. The only problem we had was that the deck furniture was all broken and we could not use it. Bad when you rented an ocean front. I mentioned this to the Garden Realty staff when we checked out and they were very nice and gave me some credit towards the rent. I would recommend Garden City realty . Hope the owner gets new deck furniture before the next renter.

Reviewer Comments: OK where do i start......When we first arrived at the condo we could tell that it was not clean.There was so much rust on the porch from the porch furniture that we had to pile it up in the corner and vacuum the carpet on the daughter in-law got a piece of rust in here foot that is what brought our attention to that! And the shower in the master bath had so much black scum around it that we used the front shower.Wine glasses were greasy with a film on them an 2 glasses had lip stick around the rims and the rest of the dishes were dirty also.The blinds once you put them up they wouldn't go down.The floors I'M SORRY were not mopped.Sand an grit all over them.The refrigerator leaked water all over our groceries all week and we had to keep a towel in front of the refrigerator also! (why has this never been taken care of since this was in one of the reviews as a complaint???) And the TV'S REALLY???a tinny little box tv in the living room!?!? There was a lady next door that by the second day we were calling her the 'condo' police,i'm not going to list all the problems we had with her because i called and told you about her......I'm sorry but to tell you the truth the only nice thing about the stay was the view and location and we didn't stay long enough to enjoy it.Our stay was from saturday to saturday and we left thursday mornig.There was so much wrong and i no you are wondering why we didn't call and complain,well it was because we new there was nothing you could of done about it,and if there was WHAT would you all have done?? I'm sorry our vacation was a big disappointment.We will not be back there!!!.....THANK YOU Mr.&Mrs. Hammer (as for the realty company you were great) NO we would not recommend this property!!

Every thing was perfect, location, few steps from the ocean, right above the pool, close parking, washer and dryer, nice kitchen... The only thing I can complain about would be, 1. It looked like the tile floor needed to be scrubbed. It looked and felt dirty. 2. when you looked under the sofa there was a ton of sand and stuff under it, so you know it hasn't been swept in a while. 3. The furniture on the deck was so rusty, so much so, that when my husband went to sit down on one of the chairs, it completely collapsed and he fell to the ground, because the legs were so rusted out. These things were really minor, we loved this place and plan to rent this very same condo again next year.

It was in walking distance to the pier and access to the beach was so easy. I loved that each unit and a reserved parking spot and you didn't have to worry about parking. Overall a wonderful property.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I've always enjoyed renting from Garden City as we have since the 1970's, but this condo Afterdeck 106 was not a desirable condo. The refrigerator leaked, I was constantly wiping up water, the floors creaked, the upstairs condo floors creaked really bad, which was right over my bedroom. One of the decks chairs collapsed on the first day, the king size bed creaked terribly on every move, which made sleeping almost impossible. The shower in the master bedroom had mold all in the handle of the shower. I will never rent Afterdeck 106 again.

Reviewer Comments: Pros - bright colors, many windows, one comfortable bed in 2nd bedroom, fantastic July 4th fireworks display right out frontCons - 1. You can only use one water source at a time if you want any water pressure. This means that even though there are 2 bathrooms, you can only use one at a time. Also, it takes at least 20 minutes for toilet tank to refill.2. Washer/dryer is very small. You can wash only 4 towels at once and you must start the dryer 3 times to get them fully dry. 3. King bed in master is like sleeping on concrete.4. Not clean - cobwebs in corners, floors were gross, dusty, mattress covers were stained, carpet is stained and nasty5. Lady who lives next door FT is rude and constantly questioned my children and other renters' children. Told them not to use pool or outdoor shower. Accused them of trespassing. Set up table, candles, and wine in walkway outside my unit, and along with 4 friends, smoked cigarettes for hours so that the smell was inside my unit. Plus I had to walk through the smoke cloud to exit or enter my unit.6. No early check-in even (2pm) though room had already been "cleaned".7. Refrigerator was falling apart and water pooled on top of food. 8. Floor squeaks and you can hear the floor above you squeaking when people walk - which they seemed to do all night, every nightI expected a lot more for $1900

Reviewer Comments: Pros on this unit - ON the beach, great view, head of housekeeping from Garden City Realty is nicest person ever, condo is decorated very nice. Cons - mattress pad filthy, pillows were beyond filthy, bed in master was horrific, moved to bed in other room - the king bed squeaks with every move made. Woke us up over & over the first night. Owners should be ashamed renting condo with bed like this. Chairs on deck falling apart too.Overall, the building is old & needs some work. The condo also needs a deep cleaning as well, lots of dust and things were sticky, tub not clean, toilet lid broken, the list goes on. Woman in office at checkin/out wasn't friendly either. We've rented many condos/houses in the area over the years, this was great location but worst unit ever.

In addition to the shelf on the door broken, it doesn't do a very good job of cooling and we had puddled water below the colanders maybe from the freezer. We had our grandson with us and the refrigerator barely kept the breast milk cold.The laminate flooring is pretty, but the squeeking is awful!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an issue with the keys when we first arrived (wrong keys) but it was resolved within the hour. We loved the large covered deck and when we weren't out eating or at the beach, we spent most of our time there. It was great during the week of the 4th as many other beach dwellers put on quite the fireworks show. The pool area could use some lounge style chairs, but that's nothing. We would certainly rent this unit again!!!

Location was great - the unit itself, not so much. It had not been cleaned properly, was very dusty/sticky and had items left from the previous occupant. The beds were horrible and the overall amenities (like the kitchen) were very minimal. We would stay here again only if upgrades are done to the unit.
