"Everything about this location is great. Parking lot filled up one of the nights and we had to park a few blocks down the street. This was very inconvenient with a baby and small children. If this hotel was able to address this issue, they would be the best in Ljubljana."

"Just around the corner from the main square. Great room with air conditioning! There is some kind of reno going on in the hallway. No problems but it looks kind of questionable until you turn the corner. Everything else is lovely. Would stay here again for sure!"

"Overall, we had an excellent stay at the Grand Plaza Hotel. It's walkable to the major sites. The staff were all very helpful and allowed us a late check out and others an early check in if they could. The breakfast was amazing with so many choices and the staff was very on top of refilling things that were emptied. We had a beautiful room, with an amazing view of the city and the other room had a castle view. The two things to be aware of - 1. The A/C works but not as well as other hotels we visited on Slovenia and it was an unusually cool few days. I'm not sure what it would do in the heat of the summer. 2. The bathroom is beautiful but has a shower/tub combo with a deep tub that was quite slippery. That may be a problem for some. "

"We returned to the hotel late at night and there was no parking slots for our car anymore. A staff member noticed our car’s entry to the parking lot, and offered us his parking space. We really appreciate this act of kindness. It also shows the security of this hotel is top-notch! Very good breakfast as well! The procedures for checking in and checking out are also efficient! Would highly recommend to anyone staying in Ljubljana :) "

"Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast at the hostel was very good with a lot of options. They had shared washrooms, but also some you could have privacy (toilet, sink, shower in closed in room)- very impressive which i've never seen anywhere else! The art on the walls, the rooftop views and ability to chill and have a drink at night was spectacular! They had a kitchen that people were using that worked very well. Machines available for drinks/snacks and staff available to get alcohol or drinks. The smaller single cubes were very tiny, but were big enough for what they were for- a place for your stuff, a desk and stool, a storage place for clothes/etc. And rhe bed of course. I appreciated the variable color light control- super cool. I'd definitely come back!"

"The apartment was wonderful - very clean, spacious and in a great location! Ales was a great host and responded very quickly if we had a question. The only thing I would suggest is providing a wardrobe or additional places to hang clothes and a microwave in the kitchen. Otherwise, we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely stay there again! "
