This is the second time we have stayed at Westgate Resorts in Myrtle Beach and have had a great time! The staff is very friendly and helpful! The property is well maintained! There is a lot for children to do to keep them occupied. The pools are clean and you are steps away from the beach and ocean. This resort is well worth checking out on your next visit to Myrtle Beach!

Constant smell of marijuana in the elevator and on the balcony. Service was great!! A swifter mop would be great to have in room for a no service room. Beds were awesome!! Parking was elevated to the garage, because golf carts took the spaces in front of condo!! Pools were very nice.. Go shopping for snacks before your stay. A bag of lays chips were $7.00 in the little general store. Overall all rating 8/10

We enjoyed our visit (I was concerned after reading some of the reviews, however I know that some people love to look for things to complain about). The room was very clean and had a pleasant scent upon our arrival. The view from our balcony was beautiful. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and I slept well during our entire visit. The staff members were friendly and helpful. Beach accessible was very convenient. Another concern that I had was being bothered with the soliciting of a time share (of which I absolutely have no interest). Fortunately, I was never asked (although I was traveling alone with my teen aged daughter and without my spouse so that might have been a factor). I would have liked housekeeping during the visit, but I understand this is limited or nonexistent in the industry. But I was able to get towels from the housekeeping staff on our floor each day. Overall we had a pleasant visit and would recommend this property.

The guy that maintained the pool he had a very infectious smile and was very friendly mostly all of the staff was very friendly. the thing I didn't like is we went to use shuttle on rainy day and was told the shuttle was no longer in service no explanation given

When arriving to our room we notice old residue around the TOLIET. Urine on the TOLIET. The floor was nasty had not been swept or mopped. I talk with the manager Teresa she said housekeeping would come up (NEVER CAME)She made all types of excuses. I was by the pool area and saw Teresa and the housekeeping supervisor. I showed her the pictures. She lied again as if house keeping was coming up. 4 hours later I go to the front desk and they move our room at 9pm at night…. We are owners with Westgate… After we upgraded our ownership we was upgraded to another room… Teresa is a horrible manager that is unconcerned with the happiness of her guest. In order to have a productive staff she has to be an example. The young lady at the front name Tamesia was extremely nice. She tried to help in anyway she could.

For the most part the employees were great. But got checked in and was out all day went back to the room for tv and rest. There was No remote control anywhere to be found. I called down and after speaking with someone and waiting 30 minutes I went down to ask for 1. Then was told I had to go back to my room and wait because didn’t have 1 a the front desk. Back to the room me and tried 10 year old son went only to wait another 25 minutes…

I was very nervous to go after some reviews I read but our stay was pretty great for the price. The room was clean. Everything worked, hallways were clean and well kept. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. We traveled with our children and one who has autism and does not do well in new spaces. She was fighting to even walk in to the lobby, kicking and screaming but everyone was so accommodating and kind to her right off the bat which is a reason in itself for us to go back.
