“The room was clean and well applied with kitchen utensils. Unfortunately the beds were pls and very uncomfortable. There were no queen beds, only twins. My husband beds had a big dip in it. There was also zero privacy. Our room faces the center of the facility with kids and dogs right outside. We left a day early. ”

“The rooms were modern and clean, the view was excellent, and it was close to the beach and town. Secure parking, lovely staff, good breakfast. Some of the details in the room needed finessing, e.g air conditioning was not connected, had to search for the right switches to make the light and fan work, etc. But overall recommended! ”

“Sandcastle Apartments is perfect for what it offers. It is self-catering, clean, safe, and a very good home base for exploring Swakopmund, though I would recommend a vehicle for accessing the main downtown/shopping and restaurant areas. Our host, Claudia, was accommodating and very communicative. There was a chance that our arrival would be delayed due to unseasonal flooding, but Claudia promptly responded to our messages and assured us that we would be able to check in with even very late……

“Adequate. Dinner was a bit of a disaster. Low alcohol wine. Four menu options not available. No butter supplied when asked. Room was very good & bed extremely comfortable.”
