Very nice hotel, in a convenient location to see the sights of Nancy. It has a touch of quality about it. The room was perfectly clean, with all the facilities that you would expect. Nice spa area, included in the price, and a very pleasant bar area. The only reason that I didn’t award it 5 stars is because when we arrived, our room wasn’t ready, even though it was later than the book in time ……. Probably just unlucky.

Great stay in Nancy

The Best Western Crystal Palace in Nancy was an easy walk from the train station. It was perfect for walking to shopping nearby or for heading to Stanislas Square for sightseeing or dining. The staff was great and very friendly.

Convenient stay option in Nancy

Good stay in Nancy at the BW within walking distance from the train station and to Place Stanislas. Updated lobby and room, though small was clean, quiet and comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast, though we also took cheaper coffee and croissants options nearby.

Great property. Very very central. The 50minutes included in the spa a great plus. Great service. Great breakfast. Nice bar in the evening with Cuban latin music. Rooms are France small. So is the elevator. We had a great time - recharging the batteries.

Overall a good experience

The check in was complicated because the credit card machine to put a hold on the card, didn’t work. I had to go back. The room was really tiny but other than that all good. The hotel is at 3 min from the train station so its location is very strategic.

Convenient stay option in Nancy

Good stay in Nancy at the BW within walking distance from the train station and to the sights around Place Stanislas. Updated lobby and the room, though small, was clean, quiet and comfortable. Extensive breakfast buffet is available, though you can also find good coffee/pastry spots nearby. Overall enjoyed our stay at the BW Plus Crystal.

Excitement turned to MISERY on arrival. Told there was a luggage drop. No. Only if you stop on a busy street. Joffre Garage a 10-15 minute walk past junkies and beggars. Reception said this was normal . .. we only saw it around the hotel. Elevator fits one normal sized person and bag, or two people. Our room was miniature, requiring us to walk at an angle at the foot of the bed to get to the bathroom. Reception was ambivalent, likely hear this daily. They said Expedia has wrong photos, this WAS the Deluxe Double. Funny, their website shows the same, deceptive photos. Room #314 is good for children, teens, a couple seeking an afternoon rendezvous. Overheard a family who also wanted another room. The misery of the room and attitude of personnel overshadowed the Hotel’s cleanliness, nice decor, comfortable bed and pillows, good A/C and shower, ample breakfast choices, and location just off the shopping street that leads to Stanislas Square, the old city, and other sites of Nancy. I chose the hotel based on reviews, a total mystery. Likely scrubbed? You can book into the spa area 50 minutes. We stayed 15 since they also booked in 8 others. Very small pool and space. Our final “adieu” was when our validated parking ticket wouldn't get us out of the Garage. Only validate as you walk out of the Hotel! If we had a “do-over,” we may have stayed one night - IN A DIFFERENT HOTEL. Personnel didn't care, Expedia even contacted them. Glad the experience is behind us!

We do not always stay in hotels but we had horrible experience with another housing option in town. We could not stay there for three more nights so I made quick reservation on Expedia and we went right to the hotel. It was only 10 in the morning but we had not had a lot of sleep. Checkin was not til 4. Staff was very kind and let us chill in lobby and got us room by one which was incredibly appreciative. Thanks so much.
