Hält nicht was es verspricht...

Das Zimmer an sich ist in Ordnung und sauber, auch der Rest der Unterkunft. Es wäre aber hilfreicher gewesen zu erfahren, dass es sich um eine Drei-Zimmer-Wohnung handelt und dass der Vermieter diese auch selber bewohnt. In der Beschreibung ist es nicht sehr offensichtlich. Man soll auch keinen Flughafentransfer rum um die Uhr anbieten, wenn man sich nicht dran hält. Wir haben diese Unterkunft ausschließlich nach diesem Kriterium gebucht. Es blieb uns nichts anderes übrig, als die Unterkunft vorzeitig zu verlassen und mit dem letzten Bus zum Flughafen zu fahren und dort die Nacht zu verbringen, da ein Taxi für 60€ für knapp 6km zahle ich allein aus Prinzip schon nicht.

Erikoinen tapaus

Luulimme varanneemme hotellihuoneen, mutta tämä olikin yksityisasunto kerrostalon 2. kerroksessa. Sijainti oli melko syrjässä erittäin sotkuisella alueella, joka oli epämiellyttävää. Sisäänkirjautuminen oli hankalaa, kun kadulla tai talon käytävässä ei mainittu Home Reginaa missään. Soitimme "hotelliin" ja koska majoittaja ei osannut englantia oli kommunikointi erittäin vaikeaa. Majoittaja oli odottanut meidän vastaavan hänen viestiinsä (italiaksi, emme puhu italiaa) ja koska emme saaneet vastattua viestiin, ei hän tiennyt odottaa meitä, vaikka varausohjeessa mainittiin tietty sisäänkirjautumisaika, jota noudatimme. Huoneemme oli siivoamatta ja odottelimme pääsyä sinne. Huoneesta voi sanoa, että se oli siisti, parvekkeella, suuri TV, WC oli yhteinen (kylpyamme). Tuli vaikutelma, että omistaja itse asui asunnossa ja hänen tavaransa olivat siellä, ainakin meidät vastaanottanut mieshenkilö oleili asunnossa koko siellä olomme ajan. Hotels.com -sivulla mainittiin, että aamupala sisältyy. Aamupala olisi ollut läheisessä baarissa n. 50 m:n etäisyydellä. Huone maksettiin käteisellä, mitään kuittia emme maksusta saaneet. Korttimaksu ei onnistunut. Aamupalan jätimme väliin, koska huone oli erittäin sotkuisella ja epämiellyttävällä asuinalueella, halusimme aamulla vain nopeasti sieltä pois. En suosittele. Ihmettelen, miten tätä voi edes mainostaa hotellina Hotels.comissa? On ennemminkin air B'n'B -tyyppinen ratkaisu.
