"This VRBO ad states it includes a balcony and implies it’s a whole home.. It is actually a basement suite and it is miles from the lake. The tenants upstairs had no consideration for us living downstairs and were stomping around like elephants at 5am! The cabinetry in the kitchen has large chunks out of the drawers as do the cabinets in the bathroom. "We had a lovely stay at Katherine’s property. The best thing about it is the patio that overlooks Okanagan Lake. We spent much time relaxing and watching the view. It’s a great location: a little south of Peachland, so it’s very quiet, but conveniently close to it and to Summerland. I strongly recommend that Katherine replace the pull-out daybed with a regular king-size bed, as it is extremely uncomfortable. A few more amenities, such as a hair dryer would also be helpful.
