We didn’t get to use the pool due to it was still winter, the service and food was amazing but disappointed due to the fact the whole stay we never got house cleaning or fresh towels and fresh sheets during our stay but other than that it was great, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was incredible loved it!

Check in was very slow. Reception did not acknowledge others waiting that there was an issue or apologize for the wait. There was hair in my shower. Breakfast had zero options for allergies. Whole milk, whole yogurt, coffee creamer. That took oatmeal, cereal and yogurt off the menu. My bed was very comfortable. The hotel was quiet.

I prepaid for two nights on hotels.com. After the first night the Hampton Inn Springfield demanded payment for the second night. I offered to show proof of my payment for two nights, they declined and offered no relief. At this critical juncture, I was in a fierce quandary, as my elderly mother was staying in the room for a visit with family who reside locally in Springfield. After a cursory evaluation of my situation it was evident thatI had no choice but to pay for the second night, paying double the amount for which I previously contracted. The owner, a man who spoke broken English, explained that they have this problem all of the time with third party bookings. That statement struck me as a bit odd. I have booked many timed with hotels.com and I am a Silver member. I have even prepaid a few times. Now, to me, an honest and ethical individual, It seems logical that if this problem has happened before, the owner or manager, that spoke broken English, would simply not require prepayment and have guests pay at check in. So my advice would to be to NOT book prepaid at this hotel. Honestly, I would stay at Holiday Inn Express, my sister stayed there and was more than satisfied. IHG is likely operated in a more ethical manner by people who share good values and proper business ethics.

After a long day in the Hospital in Nashville with our Daughter, we found this Hotel on Expedia at a great price and one room available. When my Husband and I arrived, the lady at the desk was so nice and offered us bottled waters (as many as we wanted) and when we asked for an extra towel to give us a total of four, she provided an additional 3. She said that Housekeeping was almost finished cleaning the room, but we could head up to the room. We arrived and the Housekeeper introduced herself (Deborah) and finished wiping down surfaces and making the bed. She chatted with us as we told her about our Daughter’s brain aneurysm and made us feel so welcomed at this beautiful hotel. She was very nice and extremely professional. We had everything that we needed including a great night’s sleep. The bed was very comfortable! I would definitely recommend this hotel!
