We hiked several of the nearby trails, went for a swim in the lake (cold but worth it!), and spent time skipping stones at the river just east of the property. We went grocery shopping in Aberdeen before arriving so that we'd have enough food for the entire stay, as there didn't seem to be grocery stores or many (reasonably priced) restaurants in the area. “The property was cute, quiet, and tucked away. It was easy walking access to downtown and to the beach. The host was quick to respond to any messages! Highly recommend this location. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and made do without a baking spatula but one of those would be helpful in the future for making yummy treats. The downstairs can get a bit crowded with the table but we were able to move a few things around as needed. The stairs to the loft are steep so I would recommend……
