I had a fantastic stay at this property! Angela, the owner, was incredibly friendly and checked on all the guests during breakfast. The outdoor space and patio were perfect for watching the hot air balloons rise in the morning. Even though we were leaving early at 4 am, the staff prepared a delicious breakfast sandwich for us. It’s these thoughtful touches that make this place so special. Highly recommend!

This hotel is perfect for viewing balloons and you can walk to the local shops restaurant and cafes. The owner Angela is a delight and very helpful with information on where to go and what to do. Breakfast was delicious with amazing home made cakes etc. highly recommend. The cave rooms are beautiful.

The hotel is in a great location, the rooms are very clean and beautiful, and the view from the roof top is absolutely fantastic. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I especially want to thank the front desk staff, especially Angela. I had many questions about things I didn't understand before my stay at the hotel, but she was all answered quickly and politely, which made me feel very comfortable going into the trip. I have stayed in many hotels this time, but this is the only hotel that gave me such a great service. I was really happy. Thank you very much. We will definitely stay there again when we visit Goreme.

This cave hotel was everything we wanted and then some! The owner, Angela, was a wealth of information and easily sets up any tours you may want to take. She also took time to walk around throughout the day to visit with everyone as they were dining on the terrace to make sure everything was going well for everyone.

The Taskonak Hotel is a fantastic place to stay. The staff are warm, helpful and hospitable. The area of the hotel is a short walk to the main strip, and is close to restaurants. The hotel boasts an impressive and comfortable rooftop terrace, with views of the town. Breakfast is a part of the experience. The chefs are excellent, and the spread is vast- best in Türkiye. Our only piece of feedback would be to put a couple of hooks in the bathroom for towels to hang off, but other than that, we truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to all.

We stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon from Japan. This is by far my favorite hotel I've ever stayed at! The room was built like a cave, like a hideaway, and the romantic orange lighting created a wonderful atmosphere. We stayed in room 4, and the bathtub was spacious and comfortable. It's on top of a hill in Goreme, so the view from the terrace is amazing! You can see balloons flying in the sky in the morning, and the jewel-like night view at night. The breakfast on the terrace was delicious, and the menu changed slightly every day, so we enjoyed it even if we stayed multiple nights. Please try the freshly baked omelette. And above all, the staff members Emre and Osman were really kind, and not only told us about tourist spots, but also always took care of various things to make our stay comfortable. (It was also helpful that we were able to use the shower next to the reception before getting on the late-night bus.) When we left, we were so sad to leave. I definitely want to stay at Taskonak Hotel again!

Great location, walkable to the main area in Goreme. The views from the terrace are amazing, perfect for watching the hot air balloons at sunrise. I stayed in two different rooms and both were very clean. I would stay here again.

This hotel is genuinely underrated — often overlooked in favor of the pricier, Instagram-famous spots — yet it offers some of the most breathtaking views in Cappadocia. Watching the balloons rise at dawn and the sun wash over the off-white cave buildings in the morning. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and comfortable, perfectly blending authenticity with modern convenience. The hosts are exceptionally warm and attentive — they went out of their way to make everything effortless. They helped me organise transport, and book tours at prices far more reasonable than what I found on major travel platforms like Viator. The food was fresh and delicious, and every request was handled promptly with genuine hospitality. I’ve shared photos I personally took of the hotel and its stunning views — if you’re planning a trip to Cappadocia, don’t overlook this hidden gem. It captures the true essence of the region without the noise or inflated prices.

Magnifique

Logement magnifique et bien placé. Malheureusement nous sommes venus à la période où le temps n’était pas propice. Donc pas de montgolfière… La chambre était superbe et nettoyée tous les jours. La personne de l’accueil était génial aussi et se préoccupait de chaque activité qu’on pouvait faire. Le petit-déjeuner était top aussi.

괴레매에서 더 이상의 숙소는 상상하기 힘든

숙소의 가장 큰 장점은 벌룬 뷰와 케이브 룸을 동시에 제공하는 것이었습니다. 덧붙여 룸과 테라스의 데코레이션에서 세심한 미적 취향을 느낄 수 있었습니다. 방의 위생과 정돈상태는 완벽했고 조식은 밖의 레스토랑에서 사먹는 것보다 더 훌륭했습니다. 가장 인상깊었던 점은 너무나 친절하고 동시에 매우 능숙한 직원들이었습니다. 저의 최고점 평가는 과장이 아닙니다. 근처에 100달러 정도를 더 내면 묵을 수 있는 숙소들이 있었지만 그 호텔도 이보다 더 나은 경험을 제공할 수 있을지 의문스러울 정도로 만족스러운 경험이었습니다. 기억하는 모든 직원분들에게 감사인사를 전합니다!

Hotel befindet sich im oberen Teil des Ortes, fussläufig zum Zentrum. Deshalb hatten wir von der Frühstücksterrasse einen herrlichen Blick auf die Umgebung. Frühstück war top, abwechslungsreich mit Home Made türkischen Spezialitäten. Von den Vermietern wurden wir bei der Buchung unserer Aktivitäten super unterstützt.Das Zimmer sehr sauber, neu renoviertes Badezimmer; 100% Empfehlung
