Great value overall. The lights were rather dim, there were some dead crickets in the bathroom, and the neighbors in the next room were a bit noisy. But comfortable bed and polite staff. My wife wouldn't like it, but it was OK for me.

before COVID, my son and I stayed at this location for several years (2010-2019) when we came to Schlitterbahn. Now that COVID seems to have settled down we decided to relive some good memories but was very disappointed for the property has gone downhill I guess due to change in management. We checked in at 630pm and our room was extremely hot. It took 8 hours before it became somewhat comfortable. Roaches (6) were found crawling around the lavatory and bathtub. This really concerns me for do I now have roaches that have come home with me.

The door lock is not secure. The fridge is old and beat up. All the furniture looks very outdated. Even the lamp shades are stained and cracked. The outside of the hotel looks abandoned, dirty, no landscaping, the sign is damaged. GFI plug is broken, couldn't use microwave. Room smelled musty and smokey.

Good place to stay

It was a week of work but the people at the roadway inn made me feel at home and were there to help with any problems I would recommend this hotel Over the others I have stayed that I’ve stayed in . I will be back next week or in two weeks and then another two weeks after that it was a great place to stay. Thank you very much for making me feel it on.
