“Great location with an ocean view. An easy 30-minute drive to St. John’s. Well-equipped accommodations. Comfortable beds, with quality bedding and pillows. Fluffy and plentiful towels, hand towels and facecloths. Laundry facilities were a nice bonus for our week-long stay. Kind hosts. We will stay here again!”

“This was a disappointing stay. The room was fine. We had the two-bedroom condo and it’s a good size. The kitchen is good too. The beds aren’t all that comfortable, but ok. The problem was the upstairs neighbour was absolutely cranking music until late and we had to get up really early to go catch the ferry. I realize that they can’t always control the behaviour of other guests, but I called down to the front desk and left a message and didn’t get a response. It said that quiet hours start at 11……

“Much like most of downtown St. John’s, there were a lot of stairs. 40 steps to be exact! lol, we managed & it helped burn some of the sweats nearby we enjoyed. Water street (in front of the accommodations) was closed for Pedestrian traffic which was nice; however, ensured more caloric burn while transporting luggage. The condo was nice and roomy. Clean and crisp. We had a problem with the TV, but one text to the host and he was on it! Great response time with any and all questions. Walking……

“The Viking is truly a charming experience, the view from the picture window couldn't be beat, the living area is super clean and decorated with beautiful works of art. The bedroom is very comfortable and quiet we had such a great sleep there. The area is very picturesque and right in front of you, we took many splendid shots of the cliffs ocean and beach. Ann and Mike are the owners and are very nice they made us feel right at home, I won't spoil it but they treated us to some excellent little……

“Location is perfect! Great view of Bonavista harbour, the north Atlantic, wicked sunsets and (in July) breaching humbacks! So much to explore nearby and the locals are "Best Kind"!”
