The Viking Vacation Home is your port of Call at Crow Head on Twillingate Island

Well appointed 4 Star Canada Select Rating. The Viking is located at 23A Water St. in Historic Crow Head on Twillingate Island. 1 bedroom with full kitchen, living room and a 3 piece bath and most importantly a stunning view of Notre Dame Bay and its rugged coastline. If you love painting, photography, hiking, leisurely strolls along the beach or just sitting and gazing out at the mighty North Atlantic then you won’t go away disappointed. A view of Salmon Rock never lets you leave without showing you its majestic side. From crystals dancing on the shining ocean with the possibility of spotting an iceberg or a whale to a sunset that will leave you breathless and then seduce you with crashing waves of the North Atlantic and then you can cap it off with a beverage and maybe if it’s the right time of the month a full moon shimmering its light across Long Beach. The possibilities are endless.
Settle in at the end of an adventurous day and have a restful night in The Viking Bedroom on a bed that far exceeds that of the Viking days. Dreams do come true!

Fantastic location in Crow Head very close to Twillingate town (3 km) but worlds away in a really good way- so beautiful right across from the beach, exceptional location and beautiful furnishings. Very welcoming host and her husband who live right next door. Would go back any time.

Oceanfront beauty

This property is located in peaceful, scenic Crow Head close to all Twillingate offers. The hosts are lovely people and very helpful. We slept so well and enjoyed the beautiful views, walks and beach. We would highly recommend The Viking.

Ann and Mike provide a lovely apartment with stunning views (when it’s not raining ). They were available for whatever we needed and offered great advice for where to see what we wanted to see. We plan to stay with them on our next visit to Twillingate

Best place in town

Very clean, well outfitted, just across road from bay, stayed 6 nights and it felt like home. Very quiet, no traffic or other human noise. Bay window was great place to watch icebergs and birds. We couldn’t have found a better place to stay. This was our second trip to Twillingate.

The Viking vacation home

Just returned from a great stay at the Viking house in Twillingate Newfoundland. The property was exactly as advertised, clean and very comfortable for two people. We enjoyed seeing icebergs right from our living room window.Thank you Ann and Mike for your wonderful Newfoundland hospitality!

Seafront suite on iceberg alley

Small but well appointed second floor suite with incomparable views of icebergs floating by. Ann is skilled at decoration and the suite reflects her good taste. Mike is also friendly; he left us with mementos for our stay.

A Must Stay

"The Viking" is decorated and furnished to perfection with a beautiful view of the water. Mike and Ann are the perfect host/hostess. This was our favorite spot in Twillingate. Crow Head is a cute little village.

Gorgeous spot by the Sea

This beautifully decorated space sits right by the ocean, with a special spot to sit, enjoy a glass of wine and look out over the water as the whales swim by. Warm hosts and a wonderful town! Hope to visit again!

This place is perfect. The location is extraordinary. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The place itself was perhaps the nicest most beautiful and most comfortable place I have ever stayed. There is no way to give 6 or 8 or 11 stars, but that is what it deserves

What a fantastic holiday experience! The location is incredible and the owners are super kind, welcoming folks. We had icebergs in the bay, right outside our picture window every day we were there. There is spectacular hiking trails nearby and the Twillingate Dinner Theatre nearby was a lovely night out (excellent food and fun).

Ann and Mike, the hosts, were available beforenour stay (emails) and during our stay (they greeted us and were available for any questions). Ann prepared a cheese and fruit platter to welcome us. Mike made us keychains with local sea glass. The Viking (name of their place) was more than we expected; clean, well equipped, very well located, amazing view of the ocean. I would highly recommend it!

This loft apartment is exquisitely designed and artistically decorated. Two pair of binoculars are provided for you to search for whales sometimes seen in the cove outside your window. A peaceful and quiet location on the ocean, near the lighthouse and the best cafe in the Twillingate area. The Viking is the most beautiful accommodation where we have ever had the pleasure of staying.

The Viking Vacation Home is simply superb. It is an artfully appointed one bedroom apartment with a stellar view. The ambiance is one of an artist or writer's retreat. The host, Anne... and her husband Mike... are truly dedicated to the comfort and wellbeing of their guests. If we ever went to Twillingate again we would have no hesitation staying here again. It is a thoroughly enjoyable and unique experience.
