It is well documented in the reviews this is an inexpensive motel with tired furniture and no internet service. My 2 night stay was just fine. The room was very clean and all staff interactions were super friendly. Lobby opens around 10a and I would not try to check in after 9P. Will stay here again.

For a motel and for the location, great value

Out of all the "Motels" I've stayed at, this was the cleanest. No internet however. You can connect to the wifi but none of our phones or tablets got internet. If you're looking to crash in Newport at half the price, I would recommend Harbor Base Inn.

Close to Newport without the marina hotel’s prices. We Uber for about $10.00 to all of the nightlife in the downtown Newport area. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Cozy beds. Great prices. We’ve been staying here for years.

Had a great overnight stay here. The room was recently remodeled. It was nicely renovated and clean. The Jed was very comfortable. We were looking for an inexpensive place to spend one night while visiting family and this worked perfectly for us.

Good location but lack in amenities

Internet was very slow not at all connecting. No breakfast. Dirty bathroom. Room floor was not clean. Good location though. You will get almost all food options near by including walmart. Very few Charging points inside room. Also microwave unit was not proper. TV unit was inside cabinet which is not ideal.

Place is located well near the Naval War College and also Newport area. It is an older location and was ok with older type air conditioner. Shower was a bit slow and strong pressure. So a bit pricey for what you get. Fairly clean but just old property that could use an overhaul.

This is a no-frills motel and we were only there for one night, so it served it's purpose. My one complaint is that there was not a coffee pot in the room. There was coffee served in the lobby but the lobby didn't open until 10 a.m. This was very frustrating. On the positive side, I had asked if I could get a room with a tiny freezer in the fridge (for cold packs for cooler). Our room had a dorm fridge with a small freezer above it! This was more than I expected. Also, the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly.

We had two different stays a few days apart, 1st stay the beds were like rocks! and a couple was fighting so bad they sounded like they were coming through the wall at 11:30 at night. The woman was screaming for help at the top of her lungs. We were waiting for fun shots or cops, when it was mentioned to the management, their response was why didn’t you call the cops? Ummmm NO phone in the room and WIFI and internet SUCKED!!!!! Her response well it’s over now and there’s nothing we can do but move past it. The second stay was great, beds were comfy, but the ice machine was broken….it was much quieter and we enjoyed it. Why twice you ask, they didn’t have a room available Fri or Sat and we were there till Tuesday morning working the US Open!
