“One of a kind bed and breakfast! An absolute pleasure staying here!”

“This was a charming old house dating back to the late 19th century ca1870’s. While charming, there is no elevator and the proprietor had to carry my suitcase up the stairs. The bed was a high off the ground 4 poster bed with a comfortable mattress and the only heat was with a small portable heater (it was in the 40’s outside). There maybe central or radiator heat in the winter, not sure). Also the thin quilt on the bed was not adequate and I had to double over the quilt to stay warm. I mentioned……

“The staff is very friendly and helpful. Beautiful property.”

“What a find! Beautiful property and rooms... a lot of care put into everything. We will be back-- thank you for everything Iris and Rafi!”

“We were greeted by the owners, John and Linda and given a tour and history of the building. The room that we stayed in was very clean, the bed was comfy and the bathroom was nice and modern. The breakfast was gourmet! Homemade waffles, bacon, a poached pear, arugula salad with kiwi and blueberries and homemade cinnamon scones with lemon curd and clotted cream! Decadent to say the least. The location is wonderful. You can walk to town with all the historic shops and delicious restaurants. We……

“We were a party of 6. What a welcome and we loved the rooms and friendliness. We had dinner at Butter which was excellent. Mark and Carol are fantastic hosts. I cannot recommend this b&b enough! Amazing breakfast included. Our evening was also perfect amazing dinner followed by a roaring outdoor fire next to the stream. Thanks for having us! Sarah & Tony with fam and friends”

The staff was really great and the amenities were very nice. There were a few minor issues that made the trip fall short of a 5 star review. First off, the parking situation was not great. The driveway was extremely tight and the trees were not trimmed. When we returned one night, I had to navigate a very long driveway in reverse to be able to get my……

“No Staff, everything is self-service. It's not really a Bed & Breakfast, it's more like renting a room without staff.”
