We had 3 rooms at same price, all were different quality, esp the balconies. Electric shutters and awnings very useful. Breakfast was OK, but very crowded as everybody eating inside. Bar and restaurant is 1 area so can only drink inside if restaurant empty. Area is good, easy walk to sea, old town, restaurants, station etc. Rating would have been higher except for Thurs night. We were on 7th floor, bar, pool etc on 8th. There was a private function on 8th with v loud music - I rang front desk at 11.30 and was told it would stop at 12….rang again at 12.30 and was told it there was nothing he could do but leave a note for the manager! Music finally stopped just after 2. Next morning I went to desk to speak to the manager and was told he wasn’t available (coincidentally he was due back after we were due to leave)…..receptionist was totally dismissive and disinterested. Also there is no contact number for front deck in the rooms, which is odd. Finally, when we checked out we were not given an itemised bill, also odd. Overall, a decent place to stay if you want easy access to local area, comfortable and clean rooms…..but stay below 7th floor if you like to sleep before 2a.m.!

Great place to stay, nice roof top area , central to the beach , old town and railway station. Staff where great and very helpful, place is clean and surrounding area was safe. My only negative was that the hot breakfasts was terrible but the cold elements was ok.

They gave us a free room upgrade to a massive room that we really appreciated. Everything was comfortable. AC was a little bit on the weak side, had to keep blinds and shutters closed so that the apt did not over hear. Pool and hot tub were sick. Having drink service at the pool and hot tub was nice but drinks were very expensive

Not a 4 star hotel and bugs
Only 3rd floor is renovated. I was originally put on 5th floor and the room was well very outdated, not like on the photos that I looked at when booking. I asked to move to the third floor where my colleague was, as the rooms were in the standard as per photos, and they have asked me to pay extra as the room is now more premium (has a shower and a bath). My colleague has to move rooms too as his smelled of cigarettes. After all that, we woke up in the morning scratching and bitten..we found out we have bed bug in our beds. We requested the refund, they provided it to us; but they didn’t seem very worried of having bed bugs in their hotel. Which was shocking…
