"Absolutely loved this hotel. So charming with lots of character. Room was very clean, staff very helpful and friendly. It was beautifully decorated for fall and historic (1910). I enjoyed looking at the old photos decorating the walls. I will stay here again without a doubt if I am in the area. Highly recommend."

"Loved how clean the rooms were. Stayed in the suite and it was perfect for the amount of room the kids had to play. Soooooo many shopping and food options near by. We had the best time. "

"Have stayed here several times as we pass through VA and always impressed. This stay was different. The place had an add smell, maybe like marajuana, rotten cabbage smell. Not a clean, pleasant smell in any case. There was a repeating clanking of pipes in the wall or something all night and almost outta coffe at 6:15 AM plus no creamer. Not a fan favorite anymore, hopefully they have upped their game if we choose to return."
