I would give them a higher rating if the actual place was depicted online, with the address listed correctly. It is not located in Blaine. It is in Birch Bay. There is no large sign stating Sand Castle out front. This is a condo building which I drove passed, circled around trying to find a hotel in Blaine, which of course doesn't exist. When I pulled into the parking lot of the condo, where the front door does not face the street, there was a small plaque with the name. I still wasn't sure I had the right place, so went in and asked the front desk clerk if there was a reservation in my name and when she said yes, I briefly expressed my relief and frustration with the location information provided but she just looked at me blankly. No acknowledgement, and she seemingly didn't care. The unit was clean but needs some updating and TLC.

It was beautiful! View outstanding. The pictures you have need to be updated. The outside looks nothing like the photos. Overgrown- weeds by the front door area and so much sand. Cliff we can tell has been slowly eroding. Next door the neighbors are loosing their yard. Your yard the fence dangerous. I would not have any children in yard. grassy and things including old tables and wire fencing laying around. Deck falling apart. Lots of sand- we understand but none cleaned up. Bbq horrible even though I asked if we can use it. Unusable and the fire table no propane tank just lying there. Inside good. Only we had to replace the batteries on the smoke detector. One of our washcloths in bathroom gross and bloody. Not goood. Had to ask for keys to garage was not in your book. We did see whales hanging in the area. I would not have pets there dangerous yard. Soo much sand out front. Could have been cleaned or swept for new guests arrival.
