"This was probably the worst stay ever. And is both party fault expidia and sonesta. Both don’t really go over the pet policy in detail only once you arrive. Online it wasn’t very clear that the pool was going under renovations and because of the renovations it’s loud in the morning so sleeping in will be hard due to the noise. In the middle of the night we we’re woken up by people talking loud and slamming door followed by a child’s crying and yelling its head off. The parents did nothing about it and the kid would start and stop over and over. Honestly, the grown-up woke us up by talking really loud and we stayed up because of the crying. We called the front desk to ask if they can tell them to stop. Once they were asked to stop they still continued the kid still cried until an hour later we asked if they could be moved and they said no so we had to move in order to get a good nice rest for tomorrow at the theme parks. Once we were moved, we asked for a nice quiet place away from anything and was placed in front of the construction of the new pool getting woken up early in the morning while having a little to none sleep. I’m a blue-collar man who works +10 hours a day. I saved up a whole year to take this trip and just for it to get ruined like this. they just treating me like a robotic customer and not caring about the bad stay. But hey as long as they make their money. "

"Beautiful lobby and room. Housekeeping was spectacular. Bar and rooftop restaurant were great overall. (Music is quite loud on the rooftop, difficult to talk for the volume.) We were pretty disappointed with the pool though. Due to the design of the property, the main tower of the hotel blocked sun nearly altogether by midafternoon (2:30-ish at the time of year I visited). Prior to that, there were very few loungers in the sun, and unfortunately, other guests had marked 10 (I counted) of the loungers as their own. (Personal towels, etc.) Frustratingly, they weren't physical present for about another hour. No one from the bar or restaurant approached me for an order. Worst of all is that there is no hot tub on the property, anywhere. Unfortunately, for as much as we liked everything else and obviously much of this can't be helped by the current staff, this part of our experience would keep us from coming back. Wish I could say otherwise. I had really high hopes when I initially booked."
