"I can’t recommend Black Bear Lodge highly enough. It’s a true gem—clean, cozy, spacious, secluded, beautiful views, and a short drive from the PA Grand Canyon. We loved getting to sip coffee on the back patio in the morning while listening to the birds and creek, go explore nature in the nearby parks during the day, and return “home” to relax in the hot tub in the evening. Photos often oversell a property, but the pics of the lodge truly don’t do it justice. Just perfect for a mountain getaway. Thanks for sharing this lovely place with us!"

"The room is clean, looks and smells clean. Front desk staff is friendly and efficient. Fitness center is available which is a plus for those needing to keep on track for a fitness routine."

"Plenty of space for everyone. Home had everything we needed...large well-equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms with plush towels, and even a first aid kit. We did find the concrete floors to be slippery and cold and were surprised that there were other homes on the property."

"This was our first tme using verbo. Owner was responsive to questions. This cottage was so cute and cozy. It is close to the rail trail for biking. Kitchen fully stocked. Just bring your own food. Close to the creek. Very peaceful outdoors. We would stay again. "

"Very comfortable cabin. Nice view of the river. Has everything that we needed for our stay . The parking spot and first sighting of the cabin is the only weakness. Once inside, that quickly fades. "
