“Lovely little cottage in a very nice small town. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Although no parking is available outside the front of the cottage, we had no problem parking in the road outside under the bridge as suggested. We enjoyed the walks along the Humber with the path starting right behind the cottage. This is perfect for dog owners like us.We took a trip to Withernsea (about 40mins) where there is a vast expanse of beach to explore (also great for dogs). Also went……

“Had such high hopes for this place, based on the images and location, but was so disappointed when we arrived. Genuinely considered leaving and paying to go elsewhere. Host was really great with communication and checking in, but wished we knew before booking that you actually stay at the scratty end of their property, with all the chicken coops and sheep. Property was much more outdated than on the pics and cupboards were dirty. On the plus side, the beds were comfy. I've never been more……

“Comfortable cosy stay in lovely, clean cottage which is dog friendly. Situated minutes from shops meaning you can easily get your essentials or grab a drink in a lovely pub. Nice location and suitable base to drive to other parts of the region. The cottage was clean and presented as described. WiFi was excellent throughout ( I know that’s required for some, but not us) Has a small back garden, which is gated and perfect for dogs to stretch their legs.”

“3rd time at Bennys. Such a comfortable house, extremely clean and warm. Village has one shop, a chippy and a pub. Only 10 min walk from the Wetlands, which is great for my, birdwatching hubby. Bathroom downstairs. All amenities are easy to use. Very relaxing for us in our 70s. Communication from Cottages.com is excellent.Highly recommended.”
