    The house in itself is beautiful. We were given the wrong code for the door so checking in was a little tricky. It was hard to get a hold of the owners due to our lack of phone service and not having the current WiFi password. Fortunately, the folks across the street at Totem Market were extremely helpful and were able to get us the correct code for the house. The owner gave us a free bottle of wine for the inconvenience! The house was beautifully furnished with comfortable furniture and beds, fully equipped with linens, kitchen utensils, beautiful dishes, and CONVENIENT access to Sequoia NP. One of the rooms has glass shutters (not really a window) which made the room a bit warm, and let bugs into the room. I guess that's a part of being close to the outdoors is about. Although it was a slight nuisance we figured out to make the best of it. Although it was a little tricky getting a hold of the owners, once we were able to reach them their response was prompt. It was a pleasure staying in this home and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We would love to go back ! …

    This was our second time staying here, and we love this place even more than we did before. The location is unsurpassed--it is the highest property in the development, with an unobstructed view all the way to Moro Rock. It is a nature -lover's paradise, from the great library of books covering natural and local history, flora and fauna, to the gardens and feeders that attract diverse birds, (Do yourself a favor and fill the hummingbird feeders--the acorn woodpeckers also enjoy the sugar water.) We saw a bobcat walking through the yard, and a pair of coyotes in the field outside the front yard's fence. We truly felt at home here, with comfortable indoor and outdoor furniture, an AC that cooled down the house sufficiently (especially the bedrooms), and a clean and welcoming environment.
