The check in staff was extremely friendly and the price, for the area, was unbeatable.
However, if not for the price ($70), I would give them a 1-2 star for the room for the following reasons;
1. The shower cold water handle spun free, and required us to use a sock with grip soles to grab the bare copper tube to turn the cold water on.
2. The heater pumped cold air 70% of the time, so we were cold most of the night.
3. The window curtain fell off the wall in the middle of the night.
4. We found a bed bug the following morning, and our 4 month old has several bites on him.
So if you're on a tight budget, or you're looking for a National Lampoon's style disaster comedy, this is the place to stop.
Super clean and the community kitchen was such a help! We just brought our ingredients but they had everything else that we might need. We'll definitely be staying here again :)
Staff was super friendly and the property is cute. The only issue we had was mold on the ceiling and in the bathroom :(

Pet friendly; one of the dogs were not leashed and i was nervous. There s no grassy area for my dog to go to do her business. I saw the dog relief area but I had to go downstairs to do that. i dont feel safe. I had to go somewhere else for my dog.
We had problems with the wifi. lots of cliche with the internet and we were not able to watch the tv the whole time. it kept shutting down.
otherwise the room is fine.
thank you

A good "bang for the buck!" Basic clean rooms, private river access and very close to the park gate.

The stay here was overall nice. As the door to the room is a sliding glass door, it doesn’t hold heat in the room well, so definitely keep it covered with the curtain. They have an electric fireplace heater in the main space which gives a great atmosphere but the bathroom does not heat up at all and ice cold so please prepare for that. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean.
Xochilt is great host, very courteous, polite and informative. We were there for Valentines Day and got a box of chocolate! love the details! The place is going thru an upgrade, but our room was clean, and everything was working! they keep a well-stocked kitchen with all the stuff needed to cook. The area is great and close to Sequoia National Park entrance. Will definitely visit again!
Great vibe, the owner puts lot of attention to every detail of the whole property-shared kitchen is well equipped, the game room is amazing! shared space is relaxing. The room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Close to Sequoia Park, supermarkets, restaurants, very good localization. Friendly and helpful staff
